Hey Everyone, I am two weeks post-op and I still experience extreme pain in my left side when I go from sitting to standing and laying down to an upright position. Is this normal? The pain is horrible but only lasts a minute.

I got my sleeve in November and I have only lost 46 lbs and I still can't eat. I feel like I had the surgery for nothing. I exercise, I barely can take in food and I am losing soooooooo slow. Any one have tips to jumpstart the weight loss again?

I am beginning to get depressed. Tomorrow will be a month post-op and I haven't even lost 20 lbs. I can barely eat without puking, I don't have bowel movements without a double dose of laxatives, I can't drink a lot of water as it hurts, even when taking small sips and I am in pain EVERY day. I am not usually negative but after all of the money spent and all of the pain of surgery, not seeing results is depressing me and making me hate myself for putting myself through this. I don't know what else to do.......................................................

It will be a month tomorrow and I am still in pain. I am not losing weight and everything is normal when I ask my surgeon. But I truly feel that all is not well. Even after the xrays, something just doesn't seem quite right you know.

I am two weeks post op and I returned to work to a long list of must attend business dinners for the holiday season. One of the places is a brazilian steakhouse, and if you have ever been to one of those you know they serve up to 9 different meats(lamb chops,steak, chicken, pork, baby backs) with every meal. The other is Benihanas which is my favorite unfortunately. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to order at these places without drawing attention and questions to how I am eating? I will be on solids at that point but I am still seriously worried?

Thanks Tiffkins! I'm not a party girl but my husband and I do like to get out and shoot pool and have a drink once a week. I have felt totally claustrophobic these pass 3 weeks and I really want a drink!

How soon is to soon to indulge after surgery?
