Any November 2010 Sleevers
Secret Surgery 34 replied to hungryforinfo's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeved on the 25th so this is day 6 for me. I am still on my clear liquids and very dizzy and light headed. With no calorie intake I am not really surprised. Working on the protein got 30 grams yesterday. Going to get 60 today. I also woke up with a sharp pain in my belly button only when I move. So I guess I was wondering how you got 600-800 calories in on clear liquids that are suppose to be SF for the most part? I am also down 10 lbs CRAZY! -
I am at the airport. Flying to San Diego. Mexico here I come. Blood work today and a new sleeve tomorrow. I was nervous but now I am just really excited. Maybe it is just to early in the morning to be scared. I will keep you posted on my journey.

29 Years Old & Getting the Sleeve
Secret Surgery 34 replied to Secret Surgery 34's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
(2boys & a girl) so sorry the hear. About the women at church. I swear no one wants to see us succed. I think we got all the support right here. So when they tell you to get up and walk after surgery. DO IT. I feel sooo much better standing and walking. Makes the gas pass easier. The breathing exercise helps alot too. Don't forget SF cough drops. I can't have anything for the first 24 hrs but after that I am sucking them down. Throat is a little sore. I am a little hungry but not bad at all considering I haven't eaten in over a day. Going to try and sleep I will check in the morning. -

Give her all the xrays blood work exc. This is my support group however I know of a local one as well I will be going to. Cost was $9500. Well worth it. -
29 Years Old & Getting the Sleeve
Secret Surgery 34 replied to Secret Surgery 34's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I did it!!! I'm officially on the loser's bench. I've had my sleeve for 5 hours now. There was a small hacial(sp) hyrnea(sp) that he had to repair. The pain on a scale of one to ten being the worst is 6/7, but more drugs were just administered to help. Have been taking short walks, and sitting up is much better than laying down. The worst thing overall is not being able to drink anything, I am soooo thirsty. So now that the surgery is over, I think I'm going to tell people about the surgery. If they ask, I feel it's only fair to tell them in case they have the same underlying weight loss issues. I was more worried about telling people prior to the surgery because I didn't want to deal with the negativity and the people who would try to change my mind, but now that I've had the surgery I really don't care what they think. It's a personal choice right . -

I almost forgot the husband got me a couple candy bars for after my blood work. Lol He called it my last chocolate fix. I don't think he realizes I could eat that someday again. I have told him but I think he is just nervous for me. -

Still at the airport. We have to wait a hour for another fellow sleeve sister to arrive. Not a bad day so far just alot of waiting and zero food. Didn't realize I would be this hungry. It is minimal compared to the future benefits. Still excited. Thank you to all for the good wishes. I would be lost without this forum. Thank You -

I just wanted to let you know I canceled my appointment. I decided to change surgeons. Only because of cost. There was nothing wrong with Puget sound. Like I said they we're very nice. -

Do people have scars on the belly? How big and how many? How many entry holes are there? Do Dr.Aceves patients get a drain?
