stomachless replied to FatJuicyMouse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

are they teeling you to do this diet now? because i knly had to start my all liquid diet 2 weeks before i mean its always good to lose weight i just dont know what your doctor has planned for you and best of luck to you it may seem far away but march will come wayyy faster than you expected and make sure you get your home ready for post surgery aka and body pillows you may want or a juicer or little accomidies that can help ya -
that is good keep strong i am 5 days post op and the stronger willed you are the better i cheated a little one night i gave in to ritz and cheese of all things but i felt like a horrible person just the more loyal you are now the more loyal you will be after
-
and its pointless to wiegh yourself now you still have alot of fluids in your from surgery
-
your eating solids directly after surgery? and do you have a dietician or is this just your surgeon this sounds like stage 3 which is 2 weeks after surgery
-
i experienced the same thoughts im 5 days post op im 18 and i weighed 336 i lost 15 or so before surgery with my 2 week diet and i was feeling the same way of wheter or not to go through with it. and you should. but why worry abut resteraunts i think that will be the coolest part being able to order like a small salad and be full you can practically eat out every night. no one seemed to resent my idea of surgery other than my boss a woman who is very god like and she was completely against the idea and now she is praying for me and i guess she will have to see when i lose . trust me you can do this dont be nervous surgery doesnt hurt too much the only real pain i encountered was just my stomach muscle your stomach doesnt feel pain and now nauseussness but that will get better but trust me you will be fine and you will move to better places after surgery

yeah dont worry about it it was all new stuff to me so if i can relay it to you the dietician will give you like a sheet with calorie protein carb whatnot requirements that may help you as well just make sure to find your favorite stuff now by buying smaller quantities trust me i ended up buying a shitload of stuff i dont like but my brothers use protein shakes for working out so i had someone else to give it to but make sure not to cheat i did a little here and there but its not worth it my liver did shrink perfectly but the stronger willed you are the better i dont know if you have a therapist already but in your alone situation i think it would be a perfect decision just enjoy your water and dilluted juices now because after surgery your full off a few sips here and there due to your inflamed sleeve im dealing with alot of nausea after little sips and i dont wanna use the supposetories keep me updated on how things are going whens ur surgery exactly -

my name is tyler and im 5 days post op so im not that far ahead of you but pre diet is hard but easy enough to get use to it made me lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks. so you start your days with high protein low sugar/calorie drink you can have 3 or so a day i liked muscle milk strawberries and creme along with the bananas and cream or malt. its whatever you prefer i would even suggest going out and purchasing small amounts of each company go to a local gnc or super supplements and they usually know what to get. your going to need lots of vitamins my fav multi vit is a liquid called oasis tastes like oj bariatric advantage is expensive and their multi is grosssssss your allowed sugar free jello water with chrystal light like i said about muscle milk some dieticians dont approve due to high sugar if so isopure is 40 g of protein and 0 sugars passionfruit and grape are good there kinda like juice you can have a ballanced dinner like a healthy lean cuisine i love pho and my surgeon approved you can get flavorless protein powder (get a big bag) there is no need to test that but the vitamin store will have a perfect one the bariatric advantage is like super expensive add this into broths and pureed vegetabe soups may need to get a pureer its a good purchase youll also need b12 vitamins but pretty much your day should be 1. vitamins and pills 2 protein shake 3 water or caffeine free tea and 4 protein broth 5 another shake and finally dinner aka lean cuisine find healthier ones not like mac and cheese but asian glazed chick and rice maybe for dessert half a muscle milk keep it up ask me if you got ques oh and make alot of pureed soup at once and freeze it for that you can have it after surgery ask your dietician if gum is okay i used it i dont see why not it helps with the mental eating
