Hey MN Mary. I am definitely glad I had the sleeve. I couldn't say that early on, but I still knew I had made the right decision even when things weren't so great post op. My biggest pointer is to force fluids early on even when you have no desire to put anything in your mouth. It's a necessity to stay hydrated! Best wishes with your surgery.
