I am a month out of surgery and I can drink 2 oz of protien shake, is this normal, what are you drinking a month out of surgey.

I had the sleeve on November 19th and today is the first time I had mushy foods. I tried a little hummus and about a half hour after I had it I started to feel sick and then was on the toilet a long time, has anyone else experienced this and how long did it take you to get over the sick feeling after eating, I look forward to your responses.

I was wondring, I just had the sleeve surgery and when I make Soup I put unflavored protien powder in the soup but I cannot finish all the soup so I put it in the fridge to re-heat to finish the rest the next day, does the protien powder still give us much protien to the body the next day ofter sitting in the soup all this time.

Had the sleeve Nov 19, how long does the gas pain last before it is out of the system.

Did you find as you are losing weight you have more wrinkles that start to form on your face area?

I am in south Florida and the sleeve surgery here for my wife is going to cost $17500 and we are self pay and that includes the Blis insurance for 30 days, that means if there are any complications from the surgery the insurance will cover it within the first 30 days after surgery, include three visits with the nutritionist and follow up visits with the doctor up to a year. I checked another place around here that also offers the sleeve surgery and they were $3600 cheapter but they do not offer the Blis insurance which means I will be liable for any complications from the surgery. My question is does any one know how much typically having the Blis insurance increases the cost of the surgery for the sleeve and has any one had any luck who are self paying who were able to negotiate the price down from what you were quoted and if so from what to where, I look forward to your responses.

After you have had the sleeve how many pounds a month did you lose, I am trying to understand how many pounds should be lost with the sleeve surgery, my wife is getting the surgery and she is 430 pounds.

My wife is getting the sleeve in November and she currenty is 430 pounds, and she has a hard time walking a long distance and has knee pain and was told her cartilage is gone on both knees but one is worse than the other, my question to you on this forum is how much can she expect her pain to improve as she loses the weight.
