I had something similar. It turned out anti-naseau medicine can make your vision blurry. I was extremely naseaus in the hospital so i was on on 3 medicines includind the patch. As soon as I removed the patch my vision started to improve.

My advice would be to just be hopeful and the hard stuff will pass. When I was in the hospital I wasn't sure how I was going to ever going to be able to drink let alone eat. It is amazing how the hard stuff passes and you can hardly remember it that way. So keep on sipping and taking baby steps and before you know it you will be in a different place in your recovery.

I had my sleeve on 9/9/10. Everything has been going great. Over the last day or so when I have eaten something that has tomato in it, I have been getting a burning, painful feeling in my lower throat. I've never had heartburn before but I feel like this might be what the pain is from. My husband thinks if it was heartburn it would be lower. Any suggestions?

I don't think I am taking a PPI because I don't know what that is. It seems to only happen when I have eaten tomato based foods.

I had a few days of a little hoarseness but nothing bad. By about the 4th day I sounded normal. -

I'm 5ft and at surgery was 240lbs. I've lost 15 pounds in under 2weeks. When I had my surgery I had almost no pain. It took about a week to get my energy back. I think my recovery was fantastic. I just wish time would move quicker so I can lose more weight! -
September Sleevers Celebrate!

For those of you getting ready to be sleeved, don't worry too much about the pain. Everyone is different so there is no telling how you will do. The hopitals have plenty of pain medicine if you need it. I was sleeved on 9/9. The first day I was uncomfortable but not in any real pain. Day 2 I had no pain but was nauseus and had a hard time drinking. Day 3 No pain, felt a little swollen and was tired. Day 4 still felt a little swollen but not as tired. Day 5 felt great! I could drink easily and was full of energy. Cleaned house, baked, grocery shopped... Day 6 Might have overdone it yesterday because I am tired and the drinking is not quite as easy as it was yesterday. Think I will take it easy today! :w00t:
