  3. I need help with the lingo, as well, Caroline! While I'm new to this forum, I'm not new to the lap band. Don't know what PB means, but no, you won't feel like you're choking; however, you'll want that food OUT of you because it's so uncomfortable. This is what led to my first band having to be taken out --- I'd allow myself to throw up to release the discomfort but wouldn't necessarily try to figure out exactly what I had done wrong and learn from it. Let's just say that this is the wrong way to go! My stomach herniated through the band, and I was just devistated when I found out it had to be removed. Got band number 2 in last summer (July 2006) and am doing much better, although I'm still making mistakes. If you've had two babies, you're going to be just fine.

    Ate too much??

Hi there, Had the exact same issue after my surgery (last summer) - just hang in there. I'll bet it's the leftover gas bubbles working their way out. I know it's painful, but it will go away soon. Good luck to you! Lisa
