    Food Servers seemed annoyed

I always share with my husband now. Or my oldest son. He told us that since I can't get a adult meal he is old enough he can and we can share. I only take a few bites of what ever they get. My dr. gave me a card to give to any staff that seems to question us. But as to the rude remark tell them "bite me". lol not really but its none of there business why you dont want to eat.. And it is a lot cheaper my husband does not order a starter anymore because he does not want to eat that much in front of me. so he is losing weight too.

3 days post op with terrible colics....

I had the same problems now it has been a month and this week is the first week I have felt normal. yes I am at stage 4 but I only still eat about 2 ounces. but I feel great...I am at my stall at this moment and not lost but about 2 pounds the last two weeks but before that I have lost 52 pounds. it is worth it. I know now you are wondering I had to go back to the hospital twice in the first 2 weeks after surgery.. hang in there.
  5. This is going to sound crazy but take a baby spoon and use it. that way you dont take too big of bites, and eat super slow. there is some stuff that eat that do not hit me good at all. I wait another week or so then try again. I hope you feel better soon trust me I understand. I am just now starting to feel normal.

    I'm hungry!

I am glad I am not the only one I knew I wasn't suppose to feel hungry but I do. I was kind of glad because every 3 hours or so I feel it then I eat a few bites and I am full. I am only 16 days out of surgery so maybe it will go away. I just feel a empty feeling in my tummy.
  15. I am six days post op. and today I had the life scared out of me. I was trying to get my protein down when of course I started getting sick. I tried to hurry to get to the bathroom and it pulled my drainage hose. it hurt a little but no blood no worries. well about 2 hours later I was just sitting there when it felt like someone had stuck a knife in my left lung. freaked me and my husband out called the dr and of course they told us to get straight there. They did the dye ct to check for blood clots and the barrium swallow to check for leaks and all was fine. But I still could not breathe without a lot of pain. so the dr. said he wanted to try something and he said he was going to take my tube out. And when he tried at fist it was stuck and he had to give it a good tug but apparently something he saw on the x ray told him to take it out. and sure enough when I got sick today it had went in between my ribs and stuck in the muscle right near my lung. once it broke loose instant relief. of course now I have even more sore muscles but the tube is gone..And I found out I have lost 16 pounds in 6 days.. holy cow.. I know that wont happen all the time but still at least I left with a little smile.
  16. I thought about trying that. is the smell better than with the plain broth. that is what gets me. I promise I have my pregnancy nose back. I can smell everything.lol
  17. I had mine done on the 2nd. I can't do broth either I just do jello, icy pops, and juice diluted with water.

  21. its funny that I read this today at Dr's office his nurse and him got into a debate about it. Because on my instructions home it said no straws and he said that was crazy. He said you get more air in by mouth than straw. And of course she did not agree.. did that help.lol
  22. I had my surgery thursday and I am still really sore. I hope that it is all worth it in the end..
