we're close in our surgery dates... yeah it's much easier to drink these days. but i agree, if I have a dense protein that really fills me up, i can't drink much after that, for a while. I try to get my water in early in the day, and I eat pretty lightly for breakfast/lunch. Today though, I had some roast beef for lunch, it was the new carved roast beef by the packaged deli meats... so it was thick and really filled me up, though I only had about an oz. and a half of it. So about half an hour later, I take some crystal light, and my stomach was feeling SO full like I had eaten an entire additional meal. I just figured it wasn't time yet to start filling up with liquids since I ate that hearty roast beef. Weird. Just trying to get to know what foods do what. I just think it's all a learning experience.
