I had my sleeve gastrectomy May 19, 2010, so am almost 7 weeks out. I'm disappointed that I have not lost any weight since the week after I got home. I lost 30 lbs. immediately after surgery, then another 4 or 5 lbs. the next week, regained that again, but no more since then. I journal everything I eat, and count protein grams. I'm currently at 50-70 per day. I am more active than I have been for many years, and get in about 15 mintues of walking at the end of the day. I am thrilled about getting off most of my meds for water retention, blood pressure, & all diabetes meds including insulin. I feel so much better being off those pills! But, I'm at a plateau and wondering if it will pass or if I need to make more changes.
