  1. I don't know why but I just saw your message today. I am so sorry for the delayed reply. Don't worry it does get better. I was in ALOT more pain than I expected based on some of the posts I had read on here. I was surprised at how much I hurt. My stomach was spasming alot, but I have read with this surgery the part of the stomach they leave is more muscle (which is bad now, but great later as it will hold it's shape and not stretch as easily). Just try and think about that and maybe it can help.

     

    I had my surgery on May 4, 2010. In 3 1/2 months I have lost 70 lbs

    Your feelings of regret and freak outs will pass. Don't be surprised if you cry and mourn the food loss, particularly regarding food and socializing This will pass as well, particularly as you buy new pants! I will let you know what summa says. Take care.
