Hey Latoya, I am sorry for the delay but I had trouble with my password getting reset. Are you still havinf the cravings? If so, I was told to have a small(smidgen) of what you are craving and leave it alone. Do not eat too much and your craving should go away. From my experience, I am trying new healthy ways to fight the cravings because I want more even though I only have had a little when I crave.

I am 5 days post op and I also teetered the scale before surgery. Now that I have the sleeve, I do not have the cravings to eat like before. I think it was mu nerves that caused me to want to eat my last meal every day. It was difficult for me, my doctor was angry with me and voiced her thoughts about me not losing if I did not change my ways. After 5 days I lost a total of 10 pounds. I have 60 more to go. I am 5 days post op and I still have mad gas. I expel gas and I get it right back within a few minutes. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the gas? I find it easier to drink the liquids without the gas, but those times are slim to none right now. I have been forcing my proteins down and its alright except i cannot drink them cold. Cold stuff seems to make me more gassy and uncomfortable. I also want to know if anyone is putting anything on their incisions to rid the scars. I still have stitches and i want to put some neosporin or maderma on it to make the scars go away faster.

:confused1:I am five days post surgery and every thing seems to be fine except I get this feeling of discomfort every so many hours a day. I have been taking my pain meds to help me feel better. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem? I initially thought it was a full feeling, but there are times when I have not eaten and I feel this way. I also thought it was my body adjusting to having to go to the restroom and I thought it was associated with gas. It does not really cause me pain but i get short of breathe from it until the meds start to work. Any ideas or help on this would be appreaciated.
