I also live in Kent, did you go private or NHS in Maidstone. I am looking for the right person to go to as I am not sure if I should go to Belgium or stay here. Can you advise me pls. I am about 20 minutes from Maidstone. I am very scared of surgeons as one insulted me about my weight, he screamed out on the ward after I had 6 hours of back surgery that I was so fat and I should do something about it. It has left me traumatised. -

I have been watching the obese programmes on tv all week and have decided I need to do something.. I watched Shaw Summers on there but can not find anything on him on the internet. I would like to know who to go with - how to start etc. I read about Belgium and here but I can not decide where is best. Can someone help me. I look at the stories on here and I wish I had done it sooner.:help:

Thanks for your reply but I am located in the UK and I need to lose around 80lbs to be healthy again. I saw that a lot of people are in America and all the information is welcome. Would also like to know at what stage the NHS will fund it. I am registered disabled due to severe backproblems and having spinal surgery twice. I feel like a skinny person locked in a big body:cry
