Hi Sarah, I have a question. How soon after surgery did you feel normal enough to go back to work? I asked Dr. H how long to take off from work and he said a week. A WEEK!!!!?. Is that enough time in your opinion? I've read on the boards here some people taking up to 4 weeks off. I do have a office job and the no lifting more than 15 pound requirement should not be a problem, but I don't want to push myself either. Because I do work for USPS I'm required to have my surgeon's office fill out FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) papers, which will ask for how much time to take off. I'm thinking I should have him fill out two weeks and if I feel better in one week I'll just go back. I think to cover my bases it's better to ask for more time than less. Thanks in advance for your opinion. How are you feeling? Sawree I guess I asked more than one question. LOL.
