Ok ladies, I am on clear fluids stage. I have till Saturday. I can not handle the bullets. They make me gag just thinking about them. HOW DO I GET ANY PROTIEN?? I am weak and feel I need some to help me heal and I also couldn't take the last dose of antibiotics, nasty mexican drugs I tell ya. ANY IDEAS OR HELPFUL HINTS PLEASE????????? I am getting despreate!

Called my surgeon and they said don't worry about protien the first week. I feel better now! Thanks for the help!

Done on the 15th. Feeling so much better now. Third day after was a bi%ch. Let's get on with a new life!!

Hi all, Home sweet Home Sleeved in Mexico on July 15th. Everything went well. Recovery is not as rosy as some seem to make it out. The gas pains are a bugger. The third day really sucked but the fourth day I felt 110% x better. Now I am on clear fluids but I hate the protien shots. So not sure what to do there a friend said maybe I could add egg whites to my drinks. That might work. Any ideas?

I love the EAS Shakes very cold but they are really good. If you are looking for something already mixed! Cheap in the states at Wal-Mart! -

I have lost 15 pds so far in my pre-op diet. July 15th is the big day, can't wait. Seems a little unreal still. I have a hard time picturing myself being succsesfull because I have tryed EVERYTHING and works for a bit then nothing. I realize their is a big difference in what I am try next but still...it's a head game. -
I am on day three of the pre-op diet. I can't believe how easy it has been so far. I think it is because I am READY. I have my surgery on July 15th. I am nervous about the trip home as well. We need to change plans in Dallas and I am just hoping I can move around enough to be all good during the flight and making to catch the next one.
