I saw a post you wrote about life style cookies and horton's coffee. I am just getting ready to have surgery and am not looking forward to giving up my coffee. What are life style cookies and Horton's coffee and where do you find them??

Just wanted to say you are going great! I joined the board about the time you were having surgery and read your posts often. I am finally getting my surgery date (probably Nov 10) and am trying to gear up for this life style change! My starting weight is about where you were on your surgery date so have followed your progress. You are doing great!! Hope we can stay in touch, I could sure use some advice from someone who has been there!! Take care and keep up the good work!!!

How long were you off work with your surgery? I know everyone is different, but I wondered if a week was enough.

I saw your ticker. You are doing great. I just got a call from Dr. Hoehn's office. They finally have all my paperwork and I can schedule. However, I am starting a new job on Monday and need to check with them about best time to be gone. Sooooooooo - I guess I am finally almost there! I can't believe you have already lost 70 pounds!!!! If you have time, post a couple of progress pictures, I would love to see them. Keep up the good work. You should be very proud of yourself. How about those Chiefs!!! (I love football too!)

Thanks for checking in on me. I actually had a phone call from the doctor's office today about scheduling, but when I called back I could not reach her. I am starting a new job on Monday so am not sure when to schedule surgery and how to tell new boss about surgery and the fact that I will be off for a week or so. I guess I should be excited about getting date, but I guess I can't quite wrap my head around it. I can't imagine changing my way of eating so drastically, but know I need to to get healthy. How are you doing? I saw your new pictures and you look great! Stay in touch.

Hey Deb. Just checking in on you. How are you doing? Has it been difficult? I'm am getting anxious - wondering if I will ever get my sleeve??? I did finally hear from psyc evaluation on Friday and they finally completed it and indicated they were sending to Dr. so hopefully will have a date next week. Any words of wisdom for me???

Not sure why they can't seem to get the paperwork done sooner. I used a local psychologist and apparently they are slowwwww! I have been off work and hoping to get this done before I returned to work. Not the case, as I started a new job today. (I am brain dead tonight!) LOL Your weight loss shows you are doing great! Has it been really difficult? Any words of wisdom for me????
