I was wondering is there any food that you are just not supposed to eat because it would hurt you or your band? Or is it just what works for you you can eat. With the exception of the food that has too much fat or calories. I have read alot and can't really find a never try this list. Thanks,Randa

Thank you, I just kept reading different things and really didn't want to do any thing wrong. I was Banded June 5,2007 and have done well with a 55 Lb loss I had a fill on wed and they had me so tight I could not drink fluids at all. I got a unfill yesterday and think I may live. But I lost 5 lbs in 6 days. Now I think I am just right and want to try to do eveything correctly as much as possible. Thanks again. Randa

I had reflux and took Nexium daily or died and the Dr repaired my Hiatal hernia and I have been wonderful and off medication since the first week after my surgery. Amen! The Dr told me he it would work that way I really didn't believe him but it was true. I have also been able to cut my hormone Med in half and hoping to get rid of that too as I lose more weight.

Susan, I was just mentioning that I was having the best day. pain is all but gone, How are you doing? Did you start on smushy food yesterday? I did and am getting my energy back. I took a short walk today and went out to a Movie. WooHoo! I may make it after all. Hope everyone is feeling as well. Thank you for asking, Randaree

Syrah, Funny you should say that... I did go to work Friday for a few hrs and had not taken any pain med since the night before. After I worked alittle I went to refill the pain med and after I left the store I was so tired I had ran in to the back of a very nice guy. LOL It wasn't bad and didn't do any damage to his truck but I have a nice little hitch reciever square on my bumper. I knew I didn't feel like trying to work. So if any one reads this you know how you feel and don't try to do any thing till you feel you are ready. Thanks for your concern Syrah. And Today I feel wonderful and things are great! HI, Sounds like you all have some great ideas. Thanks My question if anyone knows, What is the deal with PopCorn? Can we not eat it because of the kernals or the hard shell that you get? It is really the only thing I love and it is on every no-no list. Thanks, Randa

glad everything was ok for you Susan, Ginger you are a brave one. I was going to try work today but chickened out again. By the time I get my shower that's all, either back to bed or to the easy chair. Some how (No I am not blameing my Husband) LOL my scale got broken over night where the LED is. So I thought I would take a short outing and just go to pickup another. Then I could see how the driving and walking would do. Dr. Marsden didn't set a return to see him as of yet, and so I don't know when that will be. Is it around 4 weeks??

Well Girls I am glad I came to read the posts. I was banded on May 4th and I just kept thinking it was me. I am and have been having the same problems. I was crazy enough to think I would be able to go back to work on last Monday. I can't imagine anyone being able to bear that. Good luck and thank you, Randaree
