Gained most of my weight back

I agree, any kind of broth makes me so full I can't even sip my water, for hours. I guess it is phase 1 Atkins, but since I have lost only 3 lbs in the past 32 days, averaging 35-40g carbs a day, I must go lower. -

Sleeve4Me was always very positive and willing to listen to differing viewpoints. People are talking on another thread I've been reading, about revisions to RnY. I really don't want a revision, I don't want to become practically disabled in my eating! I'm down to 35g carbs a day now, shooting for even less. More than 40g makes me GAIN. can you believe that $H!T???? -

I don't have a primary physician because I just haven't found one yet and haven't made it a priority and to be perfectly frank, I don't trust a doctor to be on my side. I feel like they will just blame me and secretly believe that I am just not compliant. -

Lipstick Lady is a troll, I'm sorry. She goes out of her way to take offense at everything and if you don't agree with her completely she gets super riled up. It is true that we have lost a lot of people here though, I don't know if they are reading but not writing or if they have dropped off altogether, I worry about Brown and Chimera. It appears as though I cannot have any kind of carb at all, period. I have to life off a pre-agrarian, neolithic diet -

Michigan Chic I know you mean well but you must not have read far enough up the thread to see my first post. I do everything to the letter of the law, as strict and clean as though I were a new post-op. This includes tracking etc. And yes, I have tried cycling. I have tried. EVERYTHING. everything. After 30 days I have still only lost 3 pounds. -

I have had a colonoscopy and ultrasounds and MRIs and X rays and CTs, and an endoscope and there has never been any mention of a problem with my sleeve. None of the doctors were bariatric doctors but I think they would have said something. But my acid is really powerful and if I forget just one time to take my pill, it is agony. -

Who do I go to to find out about the angle of my sleeve? I don't have a hernia and don't live anywhere near the surgeon who performed the surgery. -

http://www.ruled.me/guide-keto-diet/ Holy crap, according to the rules of the keto diet, I should be taking in ONE HUNDRED grams of protein, TWENTY grams of carbs and 1100 calories!!!! per day!!!!!! Good god I have never done that low of carbs, EVER, not even post-op ... is that why I have been such a slow loser? The lowest I've done is 30-35g... -

mistysj could you pm me about this surgery revision and GERD? I have had to take a daily pill for intense heartburn since surgery nearly 5 years ago. Also, yeah it would be nice if that story of too few calories were true, but it isn't. -

216.2 this morning, I know you all will be positive and happy for me but I just can't get excited, I've been betrayed too often by that bloody machine to believe its tales, I'll believe this is really happening when it hits 10 lbs. Also, I roasted a chicken yesterday and after it finished roasting I ate the "cook's rewards"; the oysters, the wing tips, and the tail tip, all told maybe an ounce of meat but it sat and SAT in my chest the rest of the night and even gave me hiccups at bedtime. Today I ran errands and didn't eat a proper meal till about 2, some bites of chicken straight from the carcass; a few hours later I nibbled on some fresh green sugar peas and then some more chicken, all told maybe 3.5 ounces of chicken. It is really hot here so I decided to have a protein shake popsicle, I couldn't do it! My chest and stomach were so full of chicken I had - THE SLIMES! Can you believe that?!!!! I had straight up, hating life, oh-my-god sliming misery. I guess I should be ... happy? That this sort of tightness has returned? ........ I've had 300 cals today and if I eat one more bite it will be barf city o.O -

I have not tried Celexa or Lexapro, I don't think I like the Effexor, it makes me super hyper and dry mouthed and it doesn't stay in my system long enough. -
Gained most of my weight back
Globetrotter replied to frumpy69's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Thanks for the support Snowkitten. Does it matter what I was eating while I was gaining? I have eaten the purest and cleanest, most perfect foods for the past 27 days, with an excellent Water intake AND walking at least a mile a day. My average daily cals are 600-700 (yesterday was 450), carbs >40, Protein <60. sample menu: Protein shake make with water (very clean, no sugar added, no soy, no fillers, etc etc etc) sardines 1 serving small green salad with plain vinegar, pepper 1 steamed veggie sprinkled with nutritional yeast, 1 serving another protein shake Minimum 80 ounces of water/herbal tea throughout the day - no sugar added. If it is a very hot day and I feel the need for more protein, a protein shake popsicle (powder and water, 1 pop = 1/6 of a protein shake serving). -

217.4 this morning but I can't even get excited about it; three weeks ago the same thing happened, where it seemed like I was finally making good downward progress, only for the scale to change it's mind and decide that was an hallucination. The head med I am on is venlafaxine (Effexor) I started on what the Dr referred to as a "baby dose", and when that didn't feel like it was doing anything for me, I increased to a low regular dose. Now it feels like it isn't doing anything for me anymore and I'm thinking of taking more, turning my dosing into a medium/high level. Also, if I miss a portion of my dosing, I immediately feel the effects. One day when I wasn't able to take the pills at all (refill on a Sunday) it was like the lights went out, dramatic difference in mood and thoughts. I was previously on sertraline (Zoloft) and saw no particularly good effects from that. Before that I was on Buspar which turned me into a completely emotionless creature. And before you start wondering, I was on head meds when I lost a good amount of weight last year so, being on meds is not what is making me not lose weight. -
