I don't post often, but I have been reading all along. It's getting kind of old already. You have replaced one addiction with another and there is no surgery for the new one. Either see a therapist because you need help or let it go and accept who and what you are. Stop feeling guilty for other people's decisions. You are beautiful Puddin' but you have no "drug" inside of you that lures men to you. Unless you are spiking their drinks with a ruffie than they are making their own choices and decisions. If you moved out East to my area, you would be just another independent woman. Haven't you seen Sex and the City. Seriously...

Hi all, this is my very first time here. I am so inspired by people pictures, stories and support that I want to be a part of it too. I went for my intial consult with the doctor, nutitionist and psychologist on March 24, 2007 and have a tenative surgery date of June 25, 2007. Right now I am just praying that my insurance will approve the procedure. I am definitly looking to make connections with individuals just starting out so we can support one another a long the way. I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm not banded yet but I have a Magic Bullet and I use it every single day. I make my protein shakes with it in the morning and for lunch and I blend up the milk, powder, and forzen fruit and it is perfect evry time, super easy to clean too. I also find that I am able to make a lot of heathy "treats" with it like salsa, guacamole, and hummus. I make soups with it too. I know that I am going to get a ton more use out of it when everything has to be blended. Part of the reason I like it so much is that it is small so I can keep it on the counter all the time, as opposed to my bulky blender which I had to put away after each use due to limited counter space. It is a little pricy but you can get them at bed bath and beyond or linens and things with a 20% off coupon...then they are only about $35.

Thanks to everyone, I have already learned some interesting things in my time here. I look forward to sharing ups and downs with everyone...but hopefully mostly ups!
