Thanks for the insight. I did see Dr Y last week, and he pretty much cleared me for surgery. The only thing I need to do is go off my birth control pills (which can cause blood clots) and be off of them for 2 months. So now I'm looking at surgery in November-December. I did ask him about the education, and he said something similar to what you said about it. So I think that will be no big deal. Now I'm just waiting. I felt really good after meeting him and felt very comfortable with him.
