I feel your pain, I have been working 2-3 times a week since Jan.with a personal trainer. When we frist did legs I swear for three days after I had to find handicap bathrooms. The pain was worse than the lap-band surgery. Just wait until you do arms, I could hardly drive, thought I would have an accident every time I had to make a turn. Then torture above all abs, OMG can I tell you I thought I would die. However, I now have abs of steel after putting in 8 months of training. I really think all the training will make my surgery heal faster and the weight come off faster. I only lost 10lbs during all that training but I am a lot firmer. I thought that personal traineing was my answer to weightloss, I will tell you I was up at 6:00am every other day never missed did the tread mill on days I didn't train, have spent a fortune and still only lost 10lbs Why because I can't control food. I am praying the Band will work for me. I plan on returning to my training just as soon as I can. I am really wondering though if I will be able to do the Ab workout with the band. It sure feels funny right now. I haven't told my personal trainer about my surgery yet. I am trying to figure out what to tell him, why I can't come in for a few weeks, any ideas? If any of you live in Dallas North Dallas area my trainer is great and is very reasonable.

It is not uncommon for me to eat fresh jalapeno's so I have always been able to handle spice. Hope I can now. on anoyher subject frist couple of days after surgery what did you eat? Did you follow the three meals a day rule or just sort of graze? Today I have had 1 cup of jello, then a few hours later about 1 cup of tomato soup then a few hours later another cup of jello. I just want to make sure I don't strech out my stomach. Anyone have any guidelines?

Hello to all of you. Your well wishes were really appriciated. I had my surgery at 11:00 yesterday, and was home in my bed 3:30. Slept most of the afternoon, I took some Advil last night and then this morning. All I could get down yesterday was a glass of tomato juice, but this morning I had two cups of black coffee and I have already taken a walk around the block. I am really feeling pretty good. I will try to have a protein shake this morning to see how that works. Thanks again for all the well wishes. -

I am using Doctor Jayaseelan,so far he has been great and the staff at his office are just awesome. There are 4 women that have the band and the results they have has are incredible. They have their photo diary for new patients to look at. One of the girs was like a size 24 and she is now a 6 in 14 months. I really can't beleive that I will be able to walk into Macy's and buy regular clothes, but the women in Dr. J's office have all been there and done it. -

I can't wait. I am really starving tonight. I am fighting myself not to eat a box of m&m's or something. I have been basically on liquids for 6 days. It will be so great not to want to eat. -

I just spoke to the Doctor who will put me under tomorrow I am a little freaked out he told me I will have a breathing tube. I wish he would not have told me that. Is this common? I will have my surgery in dallas. I know it will change my life for the better but I am getting a little nervous. I have not told anyone about what I am doing except my husband. Let me know how everything goes the day after surgery.
