hi donna,,, i had such an easy time that i was amazed,,, the first two days are the hardest,, but they give you pain and nausea meds,, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to get up and walk, right away,, it really does help,,, and when you get something to drink sip so walk and sip is the best advise anyone can ever give you,,, and i had a very easy time of it,,, its all a vague memory now,,,if you consider its major surgery i was happily surprised at how well it all went,,, i never had any problems getting in my fluids,, i think attitude and expectations carry a large role in the whole process,,, best of luck to you jeani
