  3. Hi Im countrygirl Ive was sleeved in Australia by Dr harrison on the 9th march this yearIm 8 weeks post op now YYYEEAAHHH!!! Ive lost 14.4kg so far.Im going pretty good,i did have some sugar craings that i gave into last week but im back on track this week. A bit about my stuggle- been overweight since childhood, have tried every diet under the sun and have lost up to 30kg before, then regained it plus more. I felt the sleeve was my last chance in losing weight and regaining my health back. Anyway each week gets easier to adjust with the sleeve and it feels great to eat a small amount and be satisfied. im going to have alook around at the site, bye for now country girl:redface1:

    countrygirl's journey

oh sorry about the kgs i'll write in pound on here! i think the hardest thing is the mental side of things,im an emotional eater so its a learning curb to re educate myself and deal with stresses in other ways.Im actually starting to enjoy eating little amounts and being satisfied. at first i did feel deprived but its getting easier as the weeks go by.im not the worlds most enthusiastic person in the area of exercise so im still gunna start doing some!!i'll get there eventually, the silly thing is when i actually do go for a walk i do enjoy it,i think its the actual thought of doing it?? oh yeah im going to ditch my size 22(australian) jeans, they are falling off me yyyeeeaaaahhhh first achievement down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:001_unsure:

    Not Happy.

Ive chosen not to weigh myself regularly so im not playing mind games with myself over the scales.I let the clothes do the talking!! dont panick,i think everyone hits a plateau at some stage.Just wait and see, youll go to weigh youself and youll get a nice loss and of it will go again!
  6. i was a big coke zero drinker before my op,since my op around the 6 week mark i tried to drink softdrink but its to gassy so i havent bothered with it.
