Anyone have a Doctor who did not approve?
Maddie replied to momoftwo's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I did not have those issues with my dr. I have to say, I think it was very unprofessional to question your motives since you are a single mother. That was really out of line in my opinion. Your doctors role is to advise you regarding your health, not to judge you as a person or a mother. I would have been disapointed too after a meeting like that, but I would have been more angry than anything. -

1 year out for me today

WOW, you have really done great. Gratz, you will be at goal before you know it. -
Bisques as a rule are VERY high in fat. But, during my liquid phase, I had some crawfish bisque a few times. I got soooooo sick of chicken broth and canned cream soups taste like crap. It is more important in the beginning to get your fluids in than it is to worry about the calories or carbs. I have to tell you that the bisque was very soothing as well. As long as there are no lumps or bumps, you should be fine. If you can add some unflavored protein to it...even better. Just be careful to not add to much or the consistency is funky.

Welcome and best of luck to you.

No doubt this will be a long night for you. Can't wait to hear from you after though. Best of luck to you. Donna, best of luck to you as well. hugs, Maddie

Glad you got some relief and YAY 8 more lbs! I tell you what though, I would be terrified to take a fluid pill. I'm still struggling so hard to get my daily fluid in. WTG girl. -
