    New mushie food

I agree with Mike, you need time to heal properly. As far as the meatballs...oh yeah. They saved me, LOL. I did them Italian style, swedish meatballs, did them like salsbury steak, swiss steak version. I'm a hardcore carnivore and this was my way to have MEAT.

    Drainage Tube

I did mine 4 times a day and they had me record how much I drained each time.

    3 Month Update

That is great news. You have had great success. I am sorry to hear of the emotional struggles you have had to face but so proud of how you handled them. It is very encouraging to me personally to know that yes, there are other ways to handle such situations. thanks for sharing, best of luck to you.
  7. That's awesome! I would be excited too. :thumbup1:
  8. I agree, back off a little on the food making sure you only introduce one new thing at a time so you can identify anything that bothers you.

    Acid Attacks

If your dr didn't prescibe something like prilosec or nexium, you can get them OTC until you can get something from your dr. If you are taking something like that already, then I would suggest calling the dr. and letting him know it's not working properly.

    Scared.....

It's a huge life decision. But, like you said, for some of us, our life depends on it. Trust yourself, you know if you are doing the right thing for your health. Best of luck to you.
  11. I have read several times that one of the biggest misconceptions people have about WLS, is that it will solve all of their problems. It can change your life is a big way, which is great. But, just be aware that it can't change everything.
  12. I really don't know what to do. The only thing I would suggest, is to call your dr(if he's still open) or the E.R. and ask what you should be looking for as far as signs that something is wrong. I so hope it just passes through. Good luck.
  13. Glad things went well for you. Hope you feel better fast.
  14. I made a post last week about having my gallbladder removed. I had the surgery Friday afternoon. A few people asked me to post when I could to let them know I was ok. For those who were so kind, thank you.
  15. If you are already down to 174, you are doing pretty good!
  16. That's awesome, 52 lbs AND onederland SWEET! You are doing great, keep it up.

    2 Months Update!! With VIDEO!

I just saw the video.... LOVED it! Thanks for all the great info. You made a very good point about how easy it is to get discouraged with month 2, after month 1 was so great. I think that is one of the things nobody prepares you for. But, as you said, still losing more than without the surgery. Gratz on 50 lbs. very nice. I look forward to next month's update! Best of luck to you.

    #2s after surgery?

Anesthesia and pain meds are notorious for causing constipation, so you should really ask your dr what he recommends if you already have issues.
  20. YAY, it's finally here. I am really happy for you and you will be in my prayers. Best of luck for a speedy recovery and safe trip home.

    Just got Sleeved Help!!!

It is normal due to swelling. Right now the most important thing you can do, is sip water. The protein is important but the first week or so, nothing is more important than getting in your water. As the swelling goes down, this will get easier. Just sip, sip, sip. It gets easier.

    The Power of Anxiety

I'm glad you found out what was causing the problems for you. But, I am really glad that you are learning how to deal with it. Most people don't take anxiety seriously enough and that's when it can cause you some grief. Best of luck on moving forward. thanks for posting this, I'm sure many will find it to be an eye opener.
  24. I agree. When it comes to help, just remember you will have weight restrictions on what you can lift, so keep that in mind when it comes to your little ones.
