I had my pre-op with my surgeon today and they told me that they use a 57-60 bougie size. My original surgeon, who went on vacation for 6 weeks, from the same office, told me 32-34. I started pretty much freaking out telling the surgeon that sounded really big. She was saying that the smaller you go the more chance of twisting. I called back and talked to the nurse that runs the program and thinks the doctor was talking about a different brand bougie or something. Not quite sure, but maybe someone can let me know if there is another brand that size 57-60 is not so big?

Pill Size? (Buproprion generic Wellbutrin)
sbrown6283 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
What size pill can you take after surgery. I am on Buproprion 300mg XL (generic Wellbutrin) and really don't want to stop taking them, that's actually why I got approved for the sleeve. I asked my surgeon what should I do and they told me that my meds should be ok or to get the liquid kind for a month. I called around and cannot find liquid. The Buproprion is pretty big, probably the size of a 600mg motrin but not so thick. Is anyone on this or does anyone know about this? -
