yeah after my surgery my dr told me I didn't have Chrohn's and I believe him because i have been healthy for years w/o any surgery's. Let me know if you have any more questions
-
I have Crohn's Disease however I wasn't approved for any surgery because of "health risk" I don't know of any Dr in the states that is willing to perfrom WLS on a patient with Crohn's however, I have been in remission for 4-5years and I haven't taken in any meds in 10 years. What is your current state of health?

I just read this message and want to double check if this is on for the evening I would love to come. -
I would love to do that becasue I can't fit any of my clothes.

Don't worry about it. Do what you need to do for you. I tend not to tell people my business as well because of the negativity that comes along with it.

Hello, As you ask your question you will notice that you get very different results and that is because everyone is different how I handle something and how you handle something is two different things. But at any rate. 1. I had really bad gas for the first 5months after my surgery now it is not that bad. My stomach really doesn't make noises however what I noticed was when it did that other people directly by me never heard anything. And I would make a big deal. 2.I never feel my band or my port 3. I never have a problem doing exercises. The Dr. does suggest you wait to 8 weeks post -op before doing exercises. I actually waited about 12 weeks before I did crunches. 4. It does not hurt but there may be some discomfort depending on the foods you are eating. If you eat something that is hard to pass through then you will feel very uncomfortable and it will come back up and of course that doesn't feel well. So eat slow stay away from breads and Pasta because they are harder to digest. But once again everyone is different you find a person who doesn't have a problem digesting bread. It also depends on how much your band is filled. 5. No I don't regret having my surgery it has saved my life. I feel wonderful and I look forward to the future. Some may think this is the easy way out but it is not. It takes a lot of hard work to focus on making this work for you. It’s not only physical but mental as well.

Marie, I had some of the same issues. But my biggest question to you is how do your feel? sometimes it is hard for us to see our selfs as anything other than what we were. Having a lab-band provides steady weight loss. Just hold on you will be very pleased with your results.

I agree with you totally I went to Italy and I have had problems finding a follow up Dr since my surgery last June. My dr tried to help me but it is of little use he is over there and I'm here. And most Dr. don't want to touch you unless they have operated on you.

Hello I am looking for a fill Dr in NC or the surrounding area. I have been researching but what I am finding out is that either Dr.s don't do lapbands here at all or they will not take me because I am not originally their patient. I am looking for someone reasonably priced who doesn't mind doing fills for people who have traveled out of the country. Please Help.

I just got a fill yesterday and though it felt werid I was fine afterward. Now I'm back on a liquid diet for 5 days.

Hello, I just wanted to let the band community know more about me. Tomorrow will make two months since I have been banded though my weight loss has been steady I really am ready for a fill. I’m praying after I get the fill I will not eat as much. The problem I am running into is that I went out of the country to get my band and now and lot of Dr.s in my area are not willing to give me a fill so I guess I am feeling a little self defeated. It’s hard to see your weight go and then it completely slows down. I am staying positive I am counting to exercise and I have completly changed my eating habits. If anyone has any feedback on my message please respond.
