Hello! As THE day gets closer I'm more and more excited and nervous at the same time. I'm picking up my passport/cash/cashier's check tomorrow, I've bought all my groceries, for the first 3 weeks post-surgery and informed my doctor about my decision. She said good luck but then also said, "We have a surgeon here that does bypass and band surgery...just an FYI." It took all I could say NOT to shout out (on the email) "Are you kidding me?" I'm going to play it safe and leave a couple days of lesson plans in case I want/need to stay home the Monday/Tuesday after spring break/my surgery occurs.
