Has anyone had VSG with South Georgia Surgeon?

Hi, I'm new to this site but I am "jumping through the hoops" for the insurance company and will be using Dr. Whipple. I went to the information session in September and had my first appointment with him in October. I have two more months of physician supervised diet to complete then I get to turn in all the paperwork. (My insurance does cover VSG). I attended a Support Group meeting at Memorial on the 13th and plan on going on the 1st for the next one. The Support Group meeting was very good.
