-
Hello Sleeve Family, I had my surgery on April 12th 2010 and have lost 53 pounds> It has been a while since I been on and have not paid much attention to my weight loss. I lost my mom and life has not been to happy. Hopefully, I will get back on track. I also am having lots of hair loss, I was wondering if it will grow back?

Juarez is to dangerous to go into, I would suggest to read the news of recent murders, along with the stories of cartel..... -
I recently had my six month follow up and complained to my doc that the weight loss is slow but as we went over my diet she calculated that my protein intake was deficient she decided that I up my protein by two shakes a day and I did, I lost 2 pounds after doing it. I kinda got lost in thinking what I was eating was enough but in order to lose you have to eat. I told her I can only eat what I can fit and thats when she put me on the shakes. Hope this helps someone.......

It's been a while since I took a look in the mirror to look at myself without the fear of seeing the damage I've done to my body. I would avoid or barely glance because I knew I would only be disgusted with how I looked, and avoid any type of cameras. I'm sure there are some out there that understand where i'm coming from, but today I decided that in order to be successful in my journey It has to begin with loving myself just where I am today. My weight is not coming off as fast as most but it is coming off, I don't see any drastic change but I want to let you know that when I looked in the mirror my extra chin was gone, my neck looked smaller, my face is slim, "Oh mirror, mirror is that really me?" and it's only the begining of my weight loss journey........ Be encouraged today, be patient and love yourself again.

Hey Peeps, I was sleeved on Arpil 12th and lost 21 lbs although it seems such a small loss im grateful since i yo-yo at 216 to 211 all last year ,today I am at 195 and hope that soon my weight loss will be noticeable. I haven't had any problems and I work out at the gym everyday (walking on the treadmill) I am on mushies but at times I go back to the protien drinks if I feel I didn't meet my required amount. Luck to all and Happy Mother's Day!

I've noticed that the pigment of my skin on my tummy is getting dark. Can anyone comment or share if they are having the same experience as me??
-
I eat my meals (soups, etc) but at the end of the day if I haven't met my quata of protien I drink 4 oz of Isopure (no carbs) I too am working at trying to balance this part. Over all I see your doing great!

I had my surgery April 12, and my temp started to rise then the nurse told me to start breating in to this plastic gadget with balls measuring the air i was bringing into my lungs, it is important to do those breathing excercises. Once I started it my temp went back to normal. I also walked around the nursing station. Wish you a speedy recovery and i'll save your spot on the losers bench.

At this time im trying to make the transfer from Clear liquids to solid liquids but it seems that my sleeve is still to sensitive cuz i get the sqirts :blushing:. (I will keep inmind of what Tiffkins said about never trusting a fart) I can eat cream of wheat with lac milk and yogurt but as far as the protien solid dirnks im having a bit o a problem. Roja, my dr just said for me to drink liquids on sunday but nothing after midnight. But im going to do some drinks anyway and no red meat this week. i seen on youtube of a girl that suffered lots of pain and didn't know why after a couple of days she vomited which she said it could of been stool that was possibly trapped. once she threw it up she was fine. its important to follow the diets before and after so we keep our suffering to a minimum. i am excited for both of us. what hospital r u having ur surgery? -
