2nd Day Post-Op and Needing Advise
Iluvharleys replied to KINGSKID66's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Walking helps more than anything else, also make sure to drink lots of water. :biggrin1: -
It's probably from eliminating the carbs from your diet, and it will get better after 3 days. Make sure to drink lots of water.

Congrats to you! I hear the excitement in your post!

Good Morning Y'all, well, almost afternoon! Sherry you are so pretty, you are going to make a damn good looking biker bit$h! ROFLMAO! Love your picture! By the way, I eat popcorn all the time, it goes down real easy. I was afraid to try it at first, now I eat too much of it. Girl, you cracked me up with this one! Eileen - I guess you must have gotten another fill huh? I didn't go back and read everything, just todays stuff. Every time I think about a fill I get tighter, so I think I'll just keep thinking! :D I haven't gotten to see the Passion yet either, you'll have to let me know what you think if you watch it. Pat - Are you still sicky poo? Hope you are feeling better! Patty - Sounds like things are finally moving along for you! Doann- have fun on your trip, I bet everyone will take a double shot of you since they haven't seen you for a while. Darcy - Are you camping this weekend? How is the weather up there? It is chilly here today, but supposed to get warmer, we had a cold front move in. We went out to check the boat yesterday and the wind was so bad I couldn't hardly walk forward! I would take a couple of steps and come to a stop and laugh because it wouldn't let me take another one. :D Paula - Hey girl, how are you doing? Is that dog still driving you crazy? Anne - Your brunch sounds great! I like wine too! The new boss seems nice, I haven't had to talk to him much yet, they have been having so many meeting to get him involved, and then a big lunch at work. I think he'll be alright though. Mary - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Try to get all the things you will need because you will have the boys to take care of and he won't have anyone, so he can replace what he needs. It's tough enough just trying to raise young kids by yourself without worrying about buying things to do it with. Hugs! Kelly - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DH finds another job. Sometimes they just get too comfortable when we work and they don't have to worry so much. Good Luck! Beanie - Get out of Ikea girl! They are beginning to know you by first name! :D How's it going? Cindy - How's the meds working for you? Hopefully those headaches are gone for good! Hugs Missy~ Well, I know I probably missed a lot of you or subjects, but I really need to go visit the board and see what I have missed it has been so long since I posted. I am planning a B-day party for DH next Saturday, his b-day is actually Sunday, but don't want to do it on Easter. So, I'll probably have some leftovers for Sunday, or next week. Maybe I'll just come to y'all's house and eat all that good food you're talking about! Hmmmmmmmm ya got something good to drink too? :D

I think it depends on the child, and the neighborhood too. My oldest son could be left alone for short periods of time, but the youngest one, no way! We lived out in the country, so it wasn't a problem there either.

I like the Campbell's too, it's good!

Good Morning Y'all! Sounds like everyone is having a busy week! I don't have time for personals today either, I have to get on the road. I just wanted to say hello though and let y'all know I am still alive and kicking! :) :waytogo: I am trying to read the posts here just so I can keep up with y'all, but then by the time I read them I don't have time to respond to them. Last night DH put down some sod on the trench he dug so hopefully that flooding won't hit us next time. We still have to do a little bit on the back yard, but not much. It must have been about 8:00 before I got supper last night and I hate eating that late, but sometimes you just don't have a choice. I do think the Ortiz book has more information than Jesse's book. I read both of them. If you have already had surgery and read most of the posts here, then you already know most of what is in the books anyway. :Banane57: Later gal/guys!

Good Morning! I'm almost happy to be going back to work today, I need to rest up! ;) What a weekend! Saturday I started out by going to the grocery store, and bank and a few other errands, planted some flowers that had to be planted, then I started cleaning house, then we went and helped DB move some of the stuff out of the office they are closing. Someone had broken into the business, and naturally took a bunch of stuff, but also scattered all the medical records all over the place with bunches of other stuff too, so we spent a lot of time just trying to get through stuff. Sunday I had to work on the contract stuff, so I did that for a about 4-5 hours, then finished cleaning, did some cooking, did the laundry, washed my dirty car, and washed my dirty motorcycyle. I was so tired when I went to bed, and still tired this morning. I don't think there is a place on my body that doesn't hurt! DH went back over yesterday to help DB with the moving, so he wasn't home to help me. Sorry I was MIA, but there just wasn't enough hours for me to play this weekend! I haven't even read hardly any of the posts, so I have to do some catch up. We are supposed to be getting a new boss today, anyway I think it is today. I hope I don't look or act to haggard! I drank a few of Pat's great drinks last night too, just to make me relax a little before bedtime. :D Well, no time for personals this morning, heck since I haven't had time to read them I doubt they would be very good anyway. So, y'all have a great day and think about me while you are playing today! I just hope when I get up and down I don't look like an 85 year old grandmother! :D Later!

Everything you are feeling right now is normal. You will go thought excitement, being nervous, to wanting to back out. Keep busy! -
My only choice would be the lapband. I would not go through a surgery like the ryn. I am happy with my choice.

I notice mine a lot more since I lost more weight. Congrats on the baby, glad to hear you are doing so well!
