Happy Easter Y'all! Well, the party is over and it was a big hit! We had about 25 people here and it was a fun time. I was tired, but I still enjoyed it. I woke up on Friday at 2:00 am, just stayed in bed till 4 and decided that was stupid, so I got up and started making my potato salad. I never did go back to bed, so I was really ready for bed last night! I made some pork and chicken in the smoker, then I made potato salad, crab salad, macaroni salad, and baked beans. I also made some quaseo (?) dip and served that with chips as snack till everyone got here. I made up a big batch of Pat's drinks and they all loved them too! Eileen - I do the same thing, get up every morning between 4:30 and 5:00, never set an alarm clock. I guess I just did it for so many years that I can't break the habit. If I stay in there any longer than that my back hurts real bad when I get up! I sure hope that cough gets better for you! Ira - That is so cool that your DW is going to do the lapband too! I would think it would be so much easier to do when both people are on it. When is she going to have it done, does she have a date yet? Pat - You are so sweet to do all that for your son. We all think once we raised them that is the end, and it just never is. I guess it keeps us busy, just helping them out. Is she letting him have the kids at all for visitation? I have just been busy with this party and all. I can't get on here at work, as my boss sits right behind me and can see what I do. My screen is visable to both the big boss and my office manager at all times. That is the one thing I don't like about it. Darcy - Hey girl, are you going to the cabin this weekend? Have you started any of your quilts yet? How is that fill working for you? Kelly - Glad you can fit in the jeans, hope you feel much better too! Shackdog - Hello! Glad to see you here! I am learning though! :puke: :puke: Patty - It's a good thing I don't live near Disney, with all the things you talk about I would be a very poor person!:biggrin1: Mary - That is sweet of your DSIL! Hopefully she will remain your friend. Sherry - Hopefully things will work out with your family. Try not to worry about it too much, sometimes the less said the better off it is. My heart goes out to you. Cindy - Making cookies again! I think I am done making cookies for a long time! I sure got carried away at Christmas time, I guess it was because I wasn't working and got bored. Anne - Hey girl, what ya doin today? How is that band working for you? Can you tell the difference in the two bands? I hope I didn't miss anyone, if I did I'm sorry. Just wanted to wish you all a nice Easter. Warning! Good Morning! TGIF! I am glad the weekend is here! :) Eileen - I am so jelous that you get the day off! I sure could use the day off! I am trying to get this party stuff done, and I haven't even made a dent in it. I still have to make my salads, clean the house, finish up the back yard, go to the store, and the bank. Yikes! Pat - I sure hope the lawyer your son got is good, it is so hard to beat a woman in court. Doesn't she know that if she is going to get child support she has to claim that he is the father? You'll be riding before you know it. :D How is the fill doing? It really is hard to tell while you're still on liquids. Cindy - Sure hope it all the estate stuff goes easy for ya! At least now we know why you love going there all the time! :D Anne - I like that recipe site too! I have to admit though the last few weeks I have been cooking as little as possible. You just can't make everyone happy! Well, I probably missed someone, but have to really shake a leg now and get my shower done, hair done, pack my lunch and run like hell! :D

Hey Y'all! Well, I did get outside yesterday, and worked in the yard some. I have a bunch of catcus in my yard and they were spreaking too much, so we removed a bunch of them. Gosh, it was so pretty out. By the time we worked in the yard we were too tired to go riding, but everything was looking so much better we didn't even care! Eileen - How cute! Miss bunny! It was so pretty here that I went out on my lunch hour and sat in the car with the windows down. I no more than go in, put the windows down than a yard boy came by and blew all kinds of dirt and grass all over me! When he noticed I was sitting in the car, I put the windows up and he blew the car off! Anyway, I started reading and almost fell asleep! Have fun at lunch with Miss Beanie! Sherry - I love your pictures! That's quite a hunk of a man ya got yourself too! :D Cindy - Glad to hear your headaches are so much better! Nothing worse than a bad headache, except maybe an ear ache! Mary - Maybe since you have the kids they will let you keep the house. Hopefully things will work out for the good. Anne - Don't worry, that few pounds you gained will fly back off as soon as you get some fill. Patty - Have some fun on your break too! All that shopping sounds like fun to me! Kelly - After 7 days I know you are ready for a break, so kick it on back and enjoy! Beanie - Have fun on your trip! I'm jelous you get to go see Eileen so often! Good Morning Y'all! Today is cleaning day, along with laundry. I would also love to get out and pull all the weeds that grew back in my flower beds, but I don't know if I'll get that far. I would also like to go for a ride today, seems like it has been forever since I went riding. Sherry - I smile everytime I see your avatar, you are so cute! I think I have worn my hair the same way forever, although now I wear it up a lot too which I never did before. I use to have a fish tank too, and I loved it. I used to watch the fish instead of the tv. Now my fish are in a pond outside my front door. Eileen - My doctor only makes me do liquids the remainder of the day of my fill. I have never had a problem eating anything the next day. Even if it is at 5:00, he reminds me to make sure to start the solids the next morning. He doesn't believe in too many liquid calories. Beanie - Glad to see your smiling face today! I was only kidding about Ikea, but gosh, maybe you should have been there enjoying the day instead of doing taxex. I never had to pay taxes in my life till I moved to Texas. What a shocker the first year was, and just when I thought I took enough additional taxes out for the next year they got me again. Patty - Nothing easier than sticking a ham in the oven with a few potatoes. Usually on Easter I bake a ham, make potato salad and some baked Beans, but this year I will be doing a lot of cooking the day before, so I'm not planning on cooking on Easter again unless I have to. Well, got to get my self moving or I'll be here all day! I have lots more laundry to do now that I an back to working and have to wear all those dressy things. Later!
