It will be here and done before you know it. Keep busy, start reading as much as you can and we'll see you in bandland soon!:grouphug: -

Water is so important, so please try to get that in. Walking helped me more witht he gas than anything else did. I used a heating pad for my shoulder though.

Ive got a surgery date but.........
Iluvharleys replied to sarabluebell's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
It's only natural to be scared, nervous, and excited all at once. My doctor told me if I wasn't nervous, he would think something was wrong with me. -
Lap Band ladies....does this make you hate your boobs??
Iluvharleys replied to MellyBelle's topic in The Gals' Room
Me too! No loss in the cup size at all. -
It's very unlikely that you will stretch your pouch with liquids, especially since you don't have a fill yet. You will notice a lot of restriction right at first since you are still swollen.

Anyone else dreading the day when people start to notice?
Iluvharleys replied to sleepyjean's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I was just the opposite, I couldn't wait for someone to notice I lost weight! When they ask, I told them I was exercising more and eating less, and more or less following the South Beach Diet, which I didn't lie by telling them any of this. -
It really is important for you to find a doctor to care for you that is close to home. You are going to find out that not many doctors will take a patient that is banded in Mexico. Please keep trying until you find one before you are banded. Good Luck!

You look beautiful Penni, and I love the new hair style!

TGIF! Just jumping in to say hello, trying to read up on a few posts before I fall asleep. We actually got off early today, was going to finish up my contract job but when I got home I started on the house and that ended that! Oh well, tomorrow is another day, just wanted not to worry about it all weekend. I am trying to watch the mav's game, DH is yelling it's back on. I still haven't read the posts yet, so I have some catching up to do. I'll get back with you all tomorrow, until then hope you are having a great day! Everyone that is going out of town, have a great time! Later!

Take them right before you start eating, then you won't be drinking during your meals.

It is not mandatory that they pay you, but most companies do. When I worked in Government, they paid us for jury duty, but we had to turn in the money the court paid us, which went back into the fund. It's not fair, but that is the law. They do have to keep your job open for you though. I actually worked in the same office as the gal that had the jury position.
