Whoooo Hooooo! I finally got to get back on here! I didn't get to read much on Friday, then couldn't get on after that! Like Cindy, I cried and laughed reading it all, now I can't remember who did/said what! Eileen - Wow, what a picture! I'm glad he will be fine. I had a nephew that was riding with someone else and a big steel rod came through the back window and cut his brain stem. He went through a lot, and was sent to a nursing home to die. When the nurses there started working with him, he totally came out of it. He has a limp and has a hard time with his memory, but alive and doing well. Miracles do happen! Pat - What a horrible story, my prayers are with them. When it rains, it pours! Kat - It's time for good things to happen for you, enough of the bad stuff. You and your family are in my prayers. Cindy - When it gets cooler, we can ride our bikes back down there again, if my foot is better. We both really like Babe's, and it will be really special if you are there too!:clap2: Darcy - Hope things are healing up for you now! I need one of those really bad, doctor has been telling me for a long time to go, I just can't make myself do it! Diane - We all know you were just kidding! I don't think we have to be so careful of what we say here, we just grin and bear it! Well, I have to get off here for a few minutes, I have been feeling under the weather all day. Most doctors will delay it until you get over it. Get some meds for it and you'll probably be ready by weeks end! Good Luck!

Welcome to bandland! It gets better each day! My port area was the sorest spot for me too, it takes a while for it to get better.

I couldn't get on at all, just got on as a matter of fact. I think Mr. Alex is working on the system.

I can tell you that I was up doing things the next day, and went back to work on the 4th day. Other people have not faired as well, so it depends on you. I did fine with the liquids, I added jello which helped me alot and popcycles too. Do some serches and you'll find tons of ideas! Good luck, and welcome to LBT:D

I did stuff around the house for 3 days, then went to work on the 4th day. Everyone is different, some heal faster than others.

Thanks for posting this. I would like to see you stick around and keep us updated, as there are quite a few people that have had to have their bands removed and your information will help a lot of them I am sure. Amazing job you are doing even without exercise!

You'll fit just fine, relax and enjoy yourself! If you think you need an extender, request one ahead of time so you won't have to ask when you are sitting down.

Good Morning Y'all! Just stopping in for a quick hello, can't seem to get out the door without saying hi or reading something on here. I did great eating yesterday, also got in the pool and did some laps. Then when I came in, I did some leg lifts and crunches (Yuck). Now, if I can make myself do that everyday! I don't know why it is so hard for me to do! I guess we are in for another hot one today, even with this cold front!:heh: Patty I am so sorry they keep jacking you around. Get nasty with them! Call them 1 or even two times a day, eventually they will get sick of you and do something! Happy birthday to the little one Eileen! Hope she has a good one! Darcy - You would be great with dogs! We have a guy around here that takes the neighbors dogs for walks everyday, I guess it is his income because he walks several different ones. He sure gets his exercise in as he only walks one at a time, and this is an uphill walk most of the way around and it is a mile around. Money and exercise, can't beat that one!
