Welcome to LBT! There is a lot of information here just for taking the time to read it all! It's been a busy week for a lot of us, so that's why people haven't been here much. Sorry it took so long!

Good Morning Y'all! Sorry I didn't make it here yesterday to wish you all a "Happy Thanksgiving". I cooked from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm, then rushed to get showered and dressed and head to DB's house. We did some more cooking there, and then we sat down to eat. Well, I took a couple of bites and had the worst pb I ever had in my life. Boy, did it ever hurt! No calories for me yesteday! Anyway, I kept trying it either get it up or down and it just wouldn't do anything. I spent a good hour in the bathroom! I finally told them I had to leave, I was feeling awful. We got about 1/2 block from his house and up it came! Relief! The rest of the day I spent on liquids. I had such a headache I just couldn't get on here and read/post. I just want y'all to know I thought about each and everyone of you though. I feel like y'all are my sisters! I have to work today, so I have to hit the road. I will try to get back here today and do some personals and catch up with all of you. Have a great day!

Good Morning Y'all! Is everyone going crazy with all the preparations for the big Turkey day? I think I have everything bought except for my bananas, and I am going to try to remember to get them today! I don't like buying them too soon or they get too ripe on me. Cindy - My menu is: Turkey Mashed potatoes/gravy Green bean casserole Chicken and Noodles Candied sweet potatoes Baked beans Dressing Scalloped Corn Cranberries Rolls Fruit Salad Pumpkin Pie I feel like I am forgetting something on that list, but can't remember what! So, what is everyone elses menu? Kat - That is so cool about the sheep! When we were in Vegas on a boat, we parked it and some came down right by the boat! It was just awsome! Gosh, I hope you can't see all of me in the morning! :D It's not a pretty picture! :D Dianne - I'm really not having problems, it's just the head hunger and eating the wrong foods! I think that happens more as the longer out you are. I guess we just get bored with the same food choices, and when you start eating the wrong things, it's really hard to get back to eating the right stuff. It's just my own fault! I keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds, but the scale don't go under that! I promise myself every week to start new the next week and it just doesn't happen. It's double hard because the place I work always brings in food and it's really hard to turn it down when it is staring you in the face. Beanie - I am doing the "happy dance" for you! Whoooo Hooooo! I am so proud of you girl!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Eileen - No black Friday for me! I have done it in the past, but not anymore! Kat you are very brave! Down here in Texas, they come by the droves and will run your butt right over! The first year I went, I went to get this stereo/cd player. Well, the man handed me one and a woman behind me tried to grab it over my back and head. Well, needless to say I won the fight and she got a little bit of my elbow! Wonder if she does that anymore? I had a sore neck for days! Jules - Welcome to our world! Glad to have you aboard! Mary - They need to pay you double for coming in when you had the day off! Cassie - Hope you are doing great! If we can help let us know. Remember to walk as much as you can, sip that water/juice etc, and if you have shoulder pain use a heating pad. Oh yeah, you'll just have to let those farts rip, it's a good way to get the gas off!:heh: :heh: Patty - Hope you are feeling tons better! Flu is no fun at all! Darcy - How long will it take you to quilt the one you showed us? Sherry - Slow down, breathe, and smile! Take some time for yourself lady! You are working way too hard! Chrispy - Good morning! Hope you are having a great day! Pat - You must be out shopping again! Hope you are getting yourself something nice while you're at it! Anne - Where are you girl? We need to hear from you! Ok I hope I didn't miss anyone, but if I did I'll catch you on the next one. The clock tells me it's time to go! I could sure use a long weekend! Next year I will make sure I get it off too! Later!

Good Morning Y'all, Running late as usual, I don't know why because I get up so early in the morning, just like sitting around with my coffee watching the news. Then I have to rush to get the rest done. :biggrin1: Darcy Girl - I love your quilt! Gosh it is so purty! I wish you lived by me, I would steal it from you! :D Mandy - When I was young, I got the pox at the same time as my DB, measles too, but I was covered with them both times and he only got 3 on him! I went crazy itching and he was fine! She is a real cutie! You do look like a teenager sitting right next to her! Jan - you are doing great! Keep up the good work! Dianne - Your GM is adorable! You are so lucky to have her! I think all that baking last year is what set me off in not doing good. I haven't done good since then! Cindy - How's the house coming? You'll have a beautiful clean house for the holidays. Mary - Enjoy your time off! I am about the only person in the whole neighborhood that has to work Friday! Sherry - You must be a fantastic cook! You are always fixing something that sounds so yummy! Chrisy - Have a drink for me when you go out!:biggrin1: Veggie - Good Luck with the surgery! Thinking about you! Kat - Thanks for doing the list for us! I'll be watching for it!:clap2: :clap2: Pat - Quit doing all that shopping and get in here! Eileen - Hows the DD today? Hopefully she is much better. Beanie - Hey girl, you are doing great! Well, I know I missed someone, but the clock tells me I have to hit the road 10 minutes ago, hope I don't get a ticket now! Later!

Good Morning Y'all! Just finished cleaning up my kitchen after making breakfast. Now I get to mess it up again later for supper!:grouphug: Mandy, I loved reading your post about your daughter. It's so hard to let the little one go and get a big one. I think all those memories stick with us forever. It seems like it was yesterday that mine was just little ones. Now they have little ones of their own! Cassandra - Good luck with the surgery, post when you can and let us know how you did. We'll all be waiting to hear! Eileen - How is the little one? Hopefully she is better today. I hate it when they are sick, you can't do anything to make them feel better. Fevers scare me when they get that high. I don't remember if it was me last year or not that cut my finger, probably was since I'm always in the kitchen! I didn't cut it bad, it just wouldn't quit bleeding and I had to leave. It's fine today, just a little sore. I am not going to do all that baking I did last year. Last year I wasn't working, this year I am, and along with my foot, I'm not going to put myself through all that. Just going to make a few batches for home. Cindy - Your DD quilt sounds neat! Maybe you can post a picture when she gets done. Pat - What did you decide about the tree? Maybe it'll be on sale after Christmas. Mary - I agree, the laughing is always much better! Well, going to go finish my laundry then watch the race. Catch you all later!

Hello Y'all! Just making a quick stop by, in the middle of doing housework and laundry. DH had to go to work today, so I am taking advantage of his being gone to get some work done! They are working today instead of next Friday, but I have to work Friday and it burns my butt! I got up Friday morning and was making my lunch, cut my finger and had a heck of a time getting it to stop bleeding. I finally got it banaged up, it didn't look bad either, nice and clean looking, until I got to work and spilled hot coffee all over it! Yup, the same hand now is not only cut, but burned! It alright though, just hard to type when it is banaged up. I went grocery shopping this morning, and then came home and started cleaning. I want to get it all done before he gets home and messes it up again!  Well, I am going to go finish up before I get too tired to do it. I'll check later! Have a great one!

You are probably feeling like you will never get to eat all your favorite foods again, so you're trying to eat as much of them as you can. You will be able to eat most of the same things if not all of them. Just remember, the more you gain, the more you will have to lose. Some doctors won't do the surgery until you lose the weight either, so you might think about that. Good luck, and when you feel like eating go for a walk!:biggrin1:

Good Morning Y'all! Happy Birthday Donna! I hope we hear from you soon! Eileen - Good to see you here! I miss your smiling threads when you are gone!:biggrin1: Pat is the one that collects the Santa's. Beanie - I loved the pictures! You look great gal! Cindy - I am glad the days are ticking away for you! I would be counting them too if I was in your shoes! Kat - What nerve for a clerk to say that to you! Some people just aren't happy unless they are being cruel to someone. Mary - That was funny about your son. Sounds like you are going to have to stay one step ahead of him at all times! Chrispy - What a great picture! I am glad to put a face to your posts! Mandy - How is the new cat adjusting? I bet by now he is spoiled to the bone! Sherry - Don't you just love working from home? Now, that is my kind of job! Dianne - Did you ever find the perfect bra? Waiting for the results! Patty - I hope the mailman brings you a special envelope with great news soon! Pat - How is the decorating going? I bet by now you have at least part of it done! Cassy - It's getting closer, are you getting excited and nervous at the same time? It's only normal! Darcy - Hey girl, I miss your posts, hurry back! Anne - What ya up to girl? Let us know you are all right! We are going to my DB house for Thanksgiving, I will be making some chicken/noodles, dressing, baked beans, fruit salad, and probably scalloped corn. Usually on Friday after Thanksgiving I cook a full meal at home so we have lots of left overs, but I don't know when I am going to do it because I have to work the Friday after Thanksgiving. (not very happy about that one) I might just do something on Saturday or Sunday. We'll see! Well, got to run and finish getting ready for work. Catch you all later!

Good Morning Y'all! I guess I must have missed something, I didn't get the post on the Christmas thing. I want to be in, so include me too! Who do I send my address to, and how do I get y'all's???? Oh Pat, I love that tree, it is beautiful. If you like it, get it. I found one two years ago that I wanted so bad, but thought I would wait one more year before gettingit. Well, I have never found another one like it since, and I am still using the old one I had. If I have learned one thing about living in Texas, if you see something you want you better get it right then, because when you go back it will be gone. It happened to me quite a few times. Terrimic - I don't have any idea on the lump either, I would check with the doctor. Mandy - Hope you had a relaxing soak! Sorry about the pox! Darcy - Hope you got some rest last night. How did the quilting go? Patty - Hope you hear something soon! I'm still crossing my fingers for you! Kat - Yes, I did get all my stuff done that I wanted to for the time I had! I don't think I will ever get all I want done! You tree stand sounds so cool, you'll have to post a picture of it so we can see it! Veggie - I agree, that would make a great avatar! Eileen - Is your boss going to stand over your shoulder all week again? One time I had a boss that did that, I knew he was behind me so I turned around real fast like I was going to get up and I screamed real loud! Everyone came running in there and I looked at him and said "You almost gave me a heart attack, don't ever do that again!" He never did without saying something when he was coming in the door. Worked for me! Dianne - Are you back home now or still relaxing? Beanie - Hope your trip back home was safe! Give those kitties a big hug yet? Cindy - So, as retirement is close by, what are your plans for after you retire? Have you had any second thoughts at all? Mary - How you feeling? When will you hear something on your tests? Chrispy - Hang in there, you'll be on solids before you know it! Anne - Hello girl! Ok, got to go get my butt dressed and get on the road. Cindy, I'll trade places with you! I am ready to retire, I just can't! :Banane33:

Good Morning Y'all! Chilly this morning, I'm having a hard time getting myself moving~! Got to get the house and laundry done today, I did some yesterday, but I have to finish up today. You would think we could get some rest on the weekend, but there's always something to do. I cooked a pork roast yesterday and it was so good and juicy! I was real proud of myself:D  I actually ate right too!:clap2: :clap2: I read all the posts, now I can't remember who said what! Dang, the mind it the first to go ya know! Mandy - You new baby is beautiful, and yes I can see the Mickey on the back. Cindy - I had so much dust when they tore up just 4 squares of tile and ground down to fix a foundation leak that it took me months to get it all cleaned up. Just when you thought you had it all, you'd find more. I don't envy you! I have glasses hanging on our bar, and I had to tear the whole bar apart and clean everything. At least it sparkled afterwards! Pat - I had my share of animals too! Now I just play with the neighbors pets. I love them, I just don't have time for them anymore. DH takes up all my time too! Eileen - Sorry about your FIL, I'm sure they will find a way to have him be at home. Maybe they can send in some people to help out. Dianne - Glad you enjoyed your trip! Sounds wonderful! Mary - Glad you found something to help. I am anxious to hear about the tests too! Let us know. Sherry - I loved the picture too! Thanks for sharing it. Veggie - Great picture! Good luck with the liquids! Hang in there, you'll make it. Beanie - Have a safe trip back! By the way, I loved your post, it made me stop and think some! Darcy - Patty, come out and play! Gotta run, sorry if I missed you!
