I read everything I could get my hands on, especially on LBT before I decided to get the band. When I went to the Dr.'s office, I already knew most of what he told me, and what I wasn't sure about or wanted expert advice on I ask him while I was there the first time. I felt confident that I knew what to expect, and what to do before and after the band. The information is here for you if you just take the time to read all the posts. Good Luck!

Good Morning Y'all! Mandy - I love your geese! How cute! You have been a busy bee! :D Sherry - It's crazy how things changes, I couldn't eat bread for the whole time I was banded, now I can eat a little bit of bread (half slice or so) but can't eat some of the other stuff I use to eat like jello! I ate jello the whole time, now I can eat it but it makes me uncomfortable. I used to have trouble with apples, now I can eat them! I guess we just have to keep trying once in a while to see if it changes. Congrats on the 75 pounds! I am doing the "happy dance" for you! Whoooooo Hoooooo! Cass - I had an evening wedding and had the red dresses with white muffs. I had red ribbons on the pews along with some white candles. It was a beautiful wedding and I got lots of compliments on it. I just know you are excited about planning it all! Cindy - I cried at my party when I said I wouldn't and I bet you do too. Even though I was excited about moving and starting a new job, I had a lot of friends there and they did a lot of things that made me cry. Don't worry if you do, it just shows a little love.:grouphug: Kat - The party was great! Lots of fun, good food, and a few drinks. I ended up with a really cool nut cracker statue that holds a candle. My DH got a Chili's gift certificate! Beanie - Hope you are feeling better! You DD is in my prayers too hun! Diane - I hope the new meds help. just come and vent with us, I am sure talking helps a little bit. I know I missed a bunch of you, but the clock says I have to get my clothes on and out the door. Now, use just a little of it to relax a bit huh? Beanie - I understand the eating part! I'm not sick, don't have an excuse, but yesterday all I did was eat junk food. They brought so much stuff to the office yesterday, and I picked and picked till I couldn't even eat my lunch! Cookies, candy, cheese, crackers, just plain junk food! Good Morning Y'all! Well it's a new week, hopefully everyone will be well and feeling great! I finally finished off my decorating, no more for me! I have to buy DH a gift, and do a few cookies that are mandatory each year and then I am done. I will wait for a while before I do the cookies. The longer I wait the less they will be calling my name! Our Christmas party Saturday was a lot of fun. My next one is for work and it will be the 20th. I am anxious to see what is all done there since it will be my first one. Speaking of work, I got the nicest compliment. My boss came to me Friday and told me she had a lot of compliments about me from outside people as well as inside people and she appreciated the great job I was doing! Hopefully they will remember that when it is time for a raise! I don't have time for personals this morning, I'll try to get back tonight. Dianne - I just want to say I'm glad you confided in us, and don't think it is nothing. Sometimes the holidays brings a lot of depression with it. Just the stress of it all can bring us down. It's a hard time for everyone to go through, especially if we recently lost a loved one or have money problems. Hang in there sweetie, you'll pull through this and be a better person because of it all. Hugs! Awwww, how adorable! I love the pictures! Sherry, I was so busy looking at you and the dogs, I didn't even notice the tree wasn't decorated! You could just sit there through Christmas, and nobody will notice the tree! :)

Hello Y'all! Just walked in the door, been out doing the errands, and a little shopping. I got to Walmart early, no hassle there! I got everything done, now I am back home and have to put it all away. I have a lot to do today, then tonight we are having our neighborhood Christmas party. It's a lot of fun! It's even better that it is right next door and I can walk across the yard and be there! Dianne - Happy Birthday, I don't remember if I already said it or not, so I want to make sure I do! I hope you had a great one!:biggrin1: Patty - Do you clean houses too? If so, since you will be so close when you go to Beanie's, stop and I have some things I need done! I am just so happy that it all turned out great for you! I hope all of you that are fighting that dang cold feels better. I must say DH took that stuff and it really helped him out. As far as the timed released stuff, I have taken it without any problems. I just made sure I had something on my stomache first! Gotta run and get things put away.

Good Morning Y'all! Burrrrrrrrr, I am freezing this morning! It is just dang cold here! 22 degrees with a wind chill of 14! I do not want to go outside to go to work! I went out and started my car and I am still shivering! I was going to wear some long underwear under my clothes today, but figured I would probably look like the little kid that couldn't walk because his mother had too many clothes on him. Thank god it is Friday and I can wear some warm jeans and a warm sweatshirt! I did put a turtleneck under my sweatshirt though!:biggrin1: Mandy - Those poor little critters just want to get warm! :D Just kidding you! It's definately that time of year that everything wants to come inside! I can't blame them, but sure don't want them in my house either! Well, got to run and finish getting my lunch and stuff together. I don't have time for personals this morning. Just wanted to say hello and have a great day!

Hopefully the unfill will help you. Anne - I always use to string popcorn and cranberries. I thought about doing it this year, but changed my mind. I just love the way it looks on a tree, and I always hung real candy canes on mine too. Beanie - Sorry about the trip and the cold! Get some rest and feel better. I have been fighting catching it for about a month. Everyone at work has it and my DH had it too. I don't want it! Cass - Welcome to bandland! Sorry you are having problems, be careful and sip slowly. Refired Beans, mashed potatoes & gravy was a friend of mine during this time. Cindy - Your outside tree sounds really neat. Good Morning Y'all! Chilly, Chilly, Chilly, but a little warmer this morning! I can't believe how much this cold weather gets to me now, especially when I grew up and lived it cold weather all my life! Ivan - Wow, I couldn't believe that post! Who in their right mind would do something like that? Heck, the price is higher than some are charging right here in the states too! I guess they will find a few people that will do it, there's always a fool in the pot! Beanie - We sure think alike sometimes, I keep telling myself that February will be nice and warm again! I still don't have all my Christmas stuff up either. I am bad this year, I keep telling myself to just put up a little and forget the rest, it is so much work. I have to say though that the lights my DH put up has gotten me more into the spirit of things. This Saturday we have a Christmas party at the neighbors and that will help too! Cindy - I use to go to all the basketball games too, along with hockey, football, wrestling, and baseball. I loved every minute of it too! You'll have to post a picture of her in her t-shirt with the ball. I hoep she wins!:clap2: Kat - Why are some people just A$$......? Some ex's just can't walk away and forget, they have to make everyone else miserable! She should just ignore him and maybe he'll go away. He probably won't until he meets another fool to marry him.
