Good Morning Y'all! Gosh it's good to see so many here again! It's still a scorcher in Tx, I guess that is all part of not being so cold in the winter. Pat - I still have to go to my PCP and get his approval, and that is not until the 8th. I wanted to bypass him because I figured he would tell me no way, but it backfired on me. So, no date till then at least. Kat - You have really been a busy camper! Now, take some time for some r&r! Donna - Welcome back! Glad you had a great time. Trish - How did the fill go? Good Morning Y'all! Just finished loading the smoker with lots of good meat, I like to do that so when I come home in the evenings I only have to worry about the trimmings to go with it. It is going to be 105-106 today, so no gilling for me! I got most of my work done yesterday, so as long as I don't get any company today I can finally get some r&r! Sherry - how did your party go? Hope you had lots of fun! Thanks for the recipe, it sounds really good! What's everyone doing today?

Hello Y'all! It is damn hot here, and by Sunday it is supposed to be 104 degrees! Our pool is like bath Water, it doesn't cool you off at all. It sounds like a good weekend for staying in the house! lol I have seen Kat posting on other threads today, so I think she sounds just fine. I think she has just been busy! Sherry - Your party sounds like fun, and the food sounds yummy! I have been doing some riding, but not this weekend, dh can go all he wants to but I am not going out riding in that heat! Pat - I was wondering where you were! Glad you got the internet so you can post no matter where you are! At this point, if I get to go ahead with the surgery I am more concerned with getting them smaller than perky. I image they will be somewhat perky because they have to move the nipple on mine. I told him I didn't want them rolling under my arm anymore! And I don't want to throw them over my shoulder. lol I am just ready to do it and I sure hope my PCP doens't stop me from having it done. He is pretty strict with stuff like this. Well, going to go kick it back and relax just a little before the dh gets home.

Good Morning Y'all! Things are looking better, but wouldn't you know just when I needed him my PCP is out of town. I can't see him until the 8th of August. I did have my ekg redone and it is fine so as long as the pcp says everything else is ok I can be rescheduled. My ekg came back saying I had a previous heart attack, which is not true. It was just a machine error but scared me to death. I went in as soon as I could the next morning and had it redone and things were fine. I was worried to death and didn't sleep all night though. I guess I have to follow my true feelings in saying everything happens for a reason, so if I am meant to have this thiings will work out. If not then I am just going to have to lug these things around forever! lol Diane - I guess I have to send the monkeys out again for everyone but you! Thanks for your kind words, they mean a lot to me! Going to go get dressed and head out the door. I don't want to be late after taking half a day off for that test yesterday.

Surgery is on hold, I have to do additional testing.

Well, just got home from the hospital and had my pre-op done. Now if all my blood work comes back normal I will be in surgery thursday the 24th at 12:30. Say a little prayer for me, I want this so bad!

Hello Y'all, I am going to try again to post, hopefully I won't lose it all again. I am going to keep it shorter, maybe I won't be so mad if I lose it again. :eek: Sherry - I am glad you are feeling better with the reflux! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Diane - You look great! You are doing so good with your band! Donna - Hope you are enjoying your trip! Pat - I had to be approved twice! the first time they approved it right before my insurance changed, so I had to resubmit it again. My doc wants to do it this thursday, but I don't know if I can get everything done by then. I have to call for short term disability, so I guess I will try tomorrow to get that done, if not I will have to do it next week. I can't wait! I am ready to get rid of some of the girls! I am not ready for the pain, but I will be glad to be able to buy a bra in a regular store! Trish - We had one of the biggest frogs I ever saw in my life in our pool a few years ago. We took pictures of him because he was bigger than my dh hands. He had a hard time catching him because he was so fast. He finally got him and put him way out in the yard in some beds of flowers. the next day we got up and he was back in the pool! Well, going to try this and see if I can post!

I just spent 30 minutes writing a post and it got lost. I am so mad right now!:ohmy:

Good Morning Y'all! I have been a busy camper! We have been running all morning and I am glad it's done! Pat - You are a hot Mama! I love the pictures and that color is fab on you! I love your hair style on you too! Now, tell us who is who in the other pictures. I don't know which is which! They are both beauties, but I don't know which is Diane and which is Donna. Good luck today! Eileen - sorry you are having reflux problems too. Dang you and Sherry are going to have to get together and figure out a plan! Trish - You have a lot on your plate and I compliment you on it. I've been there and done that and I know it's not easy. You will come out a better person for it all though, believe me! The pool thing is not about the swimming, it is about getting an infection from the Water. My doctor said no baths or swimming for 6 weeks. Diane - Glad you had such at good time at Pat's. How is the fill doing for you? Donna - I guess you had your first drink huh? roflmao! I have just got approval for a breast reduction, I don't have the date yet, but I probably will next week. I can't wait! I am ready for these big girls to go smaller! Well, work calls me and if I don't get some done today I will be working the day away tomorrow. I don't want to do that so I better get off my butt and do it. Later!

Good Morning Y'all! I only wish I lived close enough to Pat to do a get together. I am very jealous! Diane - I am glad you had a good time and got a little fill. I hope it works for you! Pat - I still do the samething, always order way more than I will ever eat. I really go overboard when I go to an all you can eat place, but I don't mind doing it there as after I get to my table and take a bite of something and then can't eat it, it's ok because I have lots of other things to choose from since my plate is full. I konw that is wasteful, but I don't eat that much anyway so they really aren't losing too much. I just found out that my band doctor is moving to a different town here in texas. It will be a long drive for me now. I am not happy about that! Well, got to run so I'll try to check in tonight. Have a great one!

Hello Y'all! Glad to see a little more posting. Pat - I figured you were spending your time at the pool! What did you decide to do about the girls? Donna - we don't care what you say, when I come here and no one has posted,a then I don't either. Then pretty soon nobody posts! Where are you going for vacation, maybe we could give you a few ideas if you tell us what you will be doing. Yes, my company did leave, and yes it took me a while to get things back to normal. I really do enjoy entertaining, but it sure does wear me out too! My DH don't do much as far as house and cooking, but he does do the outside work and that is a lot too. Although most of the time I have to help out there too as he doesn't do things like I would like make sure all the tables are really clean and stuff like that. Diane - fill us in on the doctor if you can when you leave Pat's house. I know those cocktails might be a problem. lol Kat - Did you desert us for the shrinking violets? We need you here too! Well, it is just down right hot here. I think I will go jump in the pool too. Catch you all later!

Good Morning Y'all! TGIF! Now, just get me to 5:00! I am so ready for the weekend! Donna - My doctor told me I could have a drink at 4 weeks. I had a glass of wine and didn't have any problems. Although I didn't stop at one! I only slime if I am too tight, and eat something that sticks on me. I have only done it a couple of times since I have been banded. For me it is a sign I am too tight. Pat - So, did you decide what you are going to do about the girls? I still think he shouldn't charge you the full amount, after all you did tell him what you wanted to start with! Diane - So, did you decide what you are going to do about the fill yet? Kat - where are you? Didn't the monkeys find you yet? You must be hiding good! Elieen - Looking forward to your post tomorrow. Good Morning Y'all! Good to you more here! It's really hot here now, we've already hit 100 several times and now 102 is in the forecast for later this week. Diane - I am the opposite of Pat, when I am sliming I am too tight and need an unfill. I guess everyone is different. What are some of the foods that you eat when you start sliming? It just might be a certain few foods that is causing it. Donna - Congrats on the 15 pounds! that is so cool, I am doing the "happy dance for you" Well, got to run, we have a big meeting at work today and all the big shots from CA is going to be there. Congrats to you! You will go through lots of different emotions before you hit the surgery room. It is only normal to do this. Good luck and remember to post when you can and let us know how things went for you.

At times I can eat scrambled eggs or fried and other times I can't. I can eat deviled eggs at times and other times I can't. I just try a little, if it goes down good then I eat it, but if it even tries to stick I stop.

Good Morning Y'all! Just sticking my head in for a quick hello this am. My dh left the big industrial fan running outside all night, and when I turned my dryer on this morning it blew the circuit breakers. I had to go out and find the right one, then go out and turn off the fan so I could finish getting ready for work. Now my makeup is all messed up and my hair is drooping. Men! I bet his ears burned some this am. lol Catch you all later!

Good morning y'all! Well, the party was a big success and everyone had a great time. We had tons of food and it was all really good. This morning we are doing all the cleanup chores. lol I am going to try not to do too much today, I need to get a little r&r in. No big plans for the day that I know of, of course dh always waits till the last minute to want to do something. Catch you all later!

Sherry - I'm with you on all that! Enjoy your holiday too! Trish - thanks for sharing your recipe, I haven't tried it yet but it does sound good. What else is everyone fixing? I'll take some new ideas too! Here is the strawberry one I make: 1 large box of vanilla instant pudding 1 small container of sour cream 3 cups milk 1 angel food cake (I use bought ones) 1 large container of cool whip fresh strawberries Take the angle food cake and cut chunks from it and put in bottom of a pan. It won't take the whole cake. Mix your pudding with 3 cups of milk and beat 2 minutes. Mix in the sour cream and pour over the cake. It will be getting thick at this point. Cover the pudding mix with the cool whip and slice up the strawberries and put on top. This is so good and it's not sweeting sick it is really nice, and so easy to make. I get hungry for it just talking about it. If you can't eat fruit, you can still eat some of the pudding and it's good too. lol Well, going to get some stuff done before I decide not to do anything at all! Later gals!
