I sometimes think we can't see the thinner person in the mirror. I think we keep seeing the old person. The time I was amazed the most was when my DH took some pictures of me and I couldn't get over the difference! Pictures don't lie!

I am also going to add that my Doctor's office spent 2 hours with me explaining everything, which I think was really good!

I honestly don't think I could have done or know another thing. I read all the threads on here and learned from everything everyone said. I was well prepared when I went in. If I have to give you one piece of advise it would be pull up a chair and start reading everything on here. There is an awful lot of information here just for taking the time to read it all! What an awful experience to go through! I sure hope you are on the healing side of things now. Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.

I love fish and chips, sometimes I do fine with them and other times I feel bad after I eat them. Fickle band!

I didn't gain any, but lots do! This is just the healing part of it, just follow your doctors orders and you'll be fine!

I eat a sald everyday! I would be lost without eating salads. Just try one, just make sure to chew good!

I eat spicy food all the time, it doesn't bother me at all!

You'll go through lots of different emotions between now and then, you wouldn't be normal if you didn't. Try to keep busy and the time will go by much faster! Good Luck!

Good Morning Y'all! I haven't made it to the old chat to read yet, so I don't know what's been going on! I spent most of yesterday shopping in the morning and working in the yard in the afternoon. It was a perfect day for working outside. I didn't get any of my weeds pulled though because I didn't want to put any pressure on my back yet. It is still touchy at times and I want it to heal up. I trimmed bushes etc, swept, things I could stand up and do. Eileen - I'm sorry it is a sad day for you, I know what you are going through. It gets easier, but it never goes away. Hugs! Sherry - You sound busy as a bee! I can't wait to see the project when you get it done! Chrispy - Happy April to you too! Hope things are going better for you! Mandy - Glad you started the new post, I would probably be back at the old one! Well, going to check out some of the threads, then get some work done in the house and maybe some more outside. Good Morning Y'all! TGIF!!!!!! I don't know if I could take one more day this week! It has been a busy, busy, and tiring week! I am so ready for the weekend! Beanie - We went to the fair for the first time last year with our neighbors. It was so much fun and I enjoyed it so much! I definately want to go back again! I really loved the nun show! I laughed so hard! We sat down there just to rest a minute when it started, and I thought to myself this is going to be boring! Well, we laughed about it for a long time! There is a lot we didn't even get to see because a storm moved in and we had to leave. But we had a wonderful time while it lasted! Did you win the lottery? I didn't even get tickets this week! Cindy - Hey girl, don't let that case get you down, your insurance will deal with it. If they pay off that person, then they will sue the one that was the cause and get the money back. It is terrible that people sue for the things that they do. I am not a believer of suing anyone unless it is absolutely necessary! Mandy - Glad to hear Abi is doing so good! Pat - I knew anything w/o calories wasn't good for you! :D I guess I will just have to go buy more wine now!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Kat - I hope you come to Texas at a time I can come and meet you! I was a self pay too, but my surgery/hospital alone was about $20,000. It has been worth every penny of it!
