Welcome to LBT and to bandland! I have heard a lot of people that have felt that way at first, but as the time went on and they learned how to work with the band they felt different. Good Luck!

No problem with dairy here! I eat/drink it daily!
-
I must have gotten the wrong kind, I poured one on my food and I thought I would die with the first bite! That awful taste stayed in my mouth all day. It was the orderless burpless one!
-
Welcome to LBT! Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome to LBT! Glad you decided to come out and post with us! Good Luck and remember to let us know how the surgery goes! -
Walking as much as you can, and drinking water are the best things. If you have some shoulder pain, a heating pad can help a lot. I slept in the recliner for a few days too!

Welcome to LBT! Good Luck in your journey! -
Don't you just hate that! There is a lawn service that starts mowing people's yards here at 7 in the morning! At least that isn't as noisy as the construction work though!
-
That's one sharp car! If he won't drive it all the better for you, no moving the mirrors/seats every time you drive it after him!
-
Congrats to you! I hear you excitement in your post!

My doctor originally told me I could ride my Harley at 2 wks. I think if it doesn't bother you, it would be fine. If it hurts, then stop and wait for a while.
-
Glad your first experience was a good one!

I think it will be plenty of time, congrats on your surgery date!

Welcome to bandland, you should in bandland by now! -
Sometimes if you can't eat much in the morning it is because you ate a large meal at night. Try eating a small meal in the evening and make your lunch your larger meal, it really does work!

Kat - I have been thinking about you and Rick, and still sending you my prayers that things will be fine. Patty - Glad to hear you are doing good!

lap band pain vs tubal litigation pain?
Iluvharleys replied to jackie506's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My tubal was far more painful for me than the lapband was. I was even more swollen with the tubal! -
Welcome to bandland! You sound like you did great!

Pain in stomach and belching/gas for first week
Iluvharleys replied to Debra Reach's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Most likely it is gas, the more you walk and drink water the better you will be. It takes a while to get it all out of your system. If it keeps hurting I would call your doctor and ask him/her. -
Welcome to LBT! The band is not meant to be removed unless you have complications. Good Luck!

Help-Feeling very hungry after only 7 days post-op
Iluvharleys replied to dolphingirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just because you can eat it doens't mean you should. You are on liquids for a reason and that is to let your band seed in and heal up. They don't want things churning inside and that's why the liquids. When you eat things too soon, you are taking a chance of your band slipping. You need to blend things up so you are on liquids only. If you are still having problems, then call your doctor and ask him what you can have. -
Congrats to you! That's right around the corner, you'll be in bandland before you know it!
