Welcome to bandland! I'm glad your surgery went pretty good!

My doctor said you can't do anything to help it, it is growing back as we speak. He told me to feel up in my scalp and I could acutally feel the new hair growing back in. Mine got really thin, but then all of a sudden it was back really nice and pretty. Don't worry, you won't lose all of it!

Welcome to LBT, and to bandland! John, just because you can eat that stuff, doesn't mean you should. This is a time for healing, and you aren't supposed to eat anything to make your stomach work/churn. If you are extremely hungry, call your doctors office and see what they recommend. They started me on mushies at 2 weeks, then solids at 4 weeks, but not all doctors do that. You really do need to follow your doctor's orders.

I can eat bread and rice, but don't do it everyday. I can pretty much eat everything, just in smaller amounts. I have trouble with some fruits some times, but not all the time. Sometimes I can eat something one day and not the next, but then again on another day. I just try it and see how it works, you'll know if it's not going to work that day.

I've been having trouble with it all day. Just keep trying!

I can't use the artificial sweetners, so I just use regular sugar. I have tried them all and I have a bad reaction to all of them. I just watch how much I use and it works just fine.

I think I would wait to get all my tests in before I decided on anything. You might be able to have all the fill removed and do some medication to see if it helps you. Good Luck!

I have had 6 fills, and not one has hurt me. I was filled and over with before I knew it.
