What are some of the things you found most difficult to change since banding? Chewing gum - I use to chew gum all day to help me keep from eating. Drinking water with my meals Eating small bites and chewing, chewing, chewing, very slowly

Thanks Michelle, I wish you lived closer too so we could meet you too. Hopefully one of these days we can plan something that we can all come to. It's too bad we don't all live closer together. I will definately take a lot of pictures and post them. I doubt we will be able to post till we get back home on Sunday, because I don't think there will be a computer. But, I will post them as soon as I can when I get home.

Whooooo Hoooo! The dietician just called and put me on solid foods! So, I can eat just like the rest of you this weekend! She also said I could have a glass of wine Let the good times begin :banana :banana :banana -
Patty - You need to just go ahead and ride it now, don't wait. It really gives you tons of exercise too. I also had a friend die from the Ryn surgery, but she was one of the first ones to have it done many years ago. I am sorry about your friend.

Marie - I have only been riding a couple of years. This is my first motorcycle and I absolutely love to ride. Greg is right, once you ride one, you get hooked and have to have one. -
Any One Up For an Exercise Challenge?

It is heavy for me when I first sit it up, but then it's not any problem. It really kind of balances itself, as long as you don't let it tip to one side too much. I haven't been on it since I lost my weight, I better start doing some weight lifting! It really isn't hard Marie, you get use to it. Come on over, I'll let you try it! If you can ride a bike 20 miles, you can ride a Harley! -

It's a Heritage Ultra Softail classic, an 88 cubic inch, and weighs about 695 pounds. You're right, it is a big one, but it's still my baby! -

Leatha is going to show us all up! I bought that tape a year ago, and it's still in the box, does that count? All kidding aside, you are doing so good! You will be running circles around us in Galvaston! By the way, I would be the one they call "clumsey"
