I always come on here and post, balace my checkbook, browse on the computer, pay bills, or find a book to glance through. Although usually there isn't any spare time for me! Sometimes I make out a grocery list so that I have something in my hand at the store.

Janie - I have had fills and I can still drink water pretty fast too. Don't be afraid!

Jen, I can't advise you since I don't have the same band, but I can tell you that some people need more fills to get to the spot that they don't hungry as much. Hang in there, you'll get there.

My Doctor told me Protein has nothing to do with it, it is hormones! -
Missy you are in the healing stage, and without a fill you are wide open. Any weight you lose during this phase is a bonus. When you get your first fill, you will start losing.

Like everyone else said, it is very normal to be nervous! You will be in and out of surgery before you know it! Good Luck to you and please let us know how your surgery went.

I ate it the day of surgery, they served it to me for supper that night. I only had a couple of bites though.

I think some of the Doctors are starting to offer a package deal to keep people from going to Mexico. I also heard that the band itself has increased in price and some of the Doctors raised prices this year. I don't know for sure, but I would suggest you do some research and find out, each doctor charges different prices. -
Kevin - If your doctor told you that you could eat till midnight, then you should be able to. I had to do liquids the day before with nothing after midnight. Some doctors let you eat anything you want to. I would just follow what my doctor told me to do. Good Luck with your surgery and post and let us know how you did when you are able.

What kind of directions did your doctor give to you? Each doctor has their own rules to follow. I would definately follow what my Doctor told me to do.
