Blossom my Doctor always has me do liquids the remainder of the day after the fill, but starts me back on hard protein the following day.

Christina - I really don't have any bad days, at least so far. I have never pb'd or slimed. I have never felt like I couldn't have what I wanted to eat. I have ate out with family/friends and pretty much ate what they did, just less of it. I have drank wine when they drank beer, again just less of it. I have a few things that I chose not to eat, but would if I really wanted it. I can't express how much this band has already helped me. I feel better, I can walk better, my knees don't hurt anymore, I am happier. I have more confidence now, I go more places, and my health is already better. When I first heard of the surgery, I said "no way" to my doctor. After a year, and a lot of research, I decided it was what I needed. The only regret I have is that I didn't get it sooner. It is a very scary decision to make, but I have never been sorry, and I would do it again tomorrow!

I was just in Cleburne Sunday, we were riding there. Please call you doctor if you are in pain. You should not have pain. Please also keep us posted.

My doctor just told me to use beef jerkey, pears, and apples for snacks.

Welcome! I didn't have any problem doing things by the time I got home. Just remember to do some walking to help the gas pains, and sip on the liquids. There are a lot of bansters that are closet bansters, and I am one of those except for a few people in my family. I find it easier to avoid all the questions about how much have you lost, etc. There is always someone on this board that is willing to help you with your questions. Please post often, and post when you are done with your surgery to let us know how you are doing.

My fills are always really tight the first 2-3 days, then they loosen up. Give it a few days and see. I seem to have a little swelling when I get mine.

I wan't tempted with sweets, so I did great! I told DH not to buy me any candy! We were watching t.v. when a commercial came on and said "every woman wants chocolates" and I said "NO THEY DON'T"! Dh busted out laughing! Terri - If I had to be around them like you did, well, I don't know if I could have passed it all up!

I'm am glad to hear you are doing good today! We are glad you found this board too, you are an inspiration to us! You have done great!
