Good Morning Y'all! Well, the weatherman said it hit 104 yesterday, and it's supposed to be 105 today. Guess it's a good day to just stay inside, so I guess I don't mind going to work today. He-He! Sherry - Wow, your weather sounds great right now! I can't believe my guy Jeff Gordon spun out yesterday! He had it won too! Glad your tatoo is done and I am looking forward to seeing it! Chrispy - Sounds like you and the new guy are doing great. You have lots of time, so take it slow and easy, time usually tells everything. Eileen - I'm like you, I hate going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark! I like it to stay light outside till at least 9 so I don't feel like going to bed at 6! Hope your B-day was a great one. Mandy - Take it easy, don't over do it. You want to be all healed up and feeling good for the trip. Kat - I have to scroll back all the time too. I just can't remember everything anymore. Wow Lady, I love your new avatar. You look beautiful! I do love the smile too! Patty - Your funnel cakes sounds so yummy! Cindy - Are you staying cool? Darcy - Hurry up and get moved, I miss your posts on here. Well, got to run and get my shower. I have to leave a little early today as they have all the roads tore up near work and Friday it took me an extra 30 minutes of sitting and waiting and I was almost late.

Good Morning Y'all! TGIF! Well the weather man this morning said Dallas didn't hit the 100 degree mark, but our bank said 103! Either way it is hot! I don't always agree with the temps taken at the airport, all the temps around will say one thing but it is always cooler at the main point. Well, I am going to go get in the shower and get dressed for work. Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning Y'all! I think we just might hit that 100 degree day today, when they tell the weather it is all 100, 102, 103, so sometime between now and Sunday I think it will come. It is hot! Darcy - How nice to come here and see you posted! I miss your posts alot! Has your DD came home yet and found out you moved? I would love sitting looking out your window and watching the wild life out there. Hey, the pool is open anytime you want to jump in! That goes for any one of you gals! Kat - Those eggs sounds likf a fun time. I remember doing some like that for Easter trees and we decorated them up. I love my pool, I can't imagine life without it now. It's the first one I ever had, and I have used it so much. It saves us in the summer time with the heat. If we go riding and get hot, we just come home and jump in and we cool down right away. Same for gardening. Cindy - You already look great, no need to worry about that scale! I miss Anne too, I think about her alot. Maybe she'll pop in and say hello soon. Sherry - How is the tatoo coming along? I can't wait to see it. Well, got to run and get dressed! Some day maybe I won't have to work for a living but I think that is a long way off right now. Good Morning Y'all! Boy, it's hot here! No more sitting in the car and eating lunch/reading for me! I really enjoyed that too, no noise to bother me, just me and my book. lol I have been getting in the pool every day and exercising, but getting discouraged because still no weigh loss. I have to go back to the doctor next week and he isn't going to like it that I haven't lost anything again. UGH! Eileen - "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sweetie! I hope you have a great one! Are you doing anything special? Kat - I have been craving sweets too! Just what I don't need right now. But cake and ice cream sounds heavenly! Where is everyone? I did hear from Beanie, she is still looking for work, I hope she finds something soon because I miss her posts on here. It's tough to find a good job anymore. Good Morning Y'all! Sorry I missed the weekend, just got busy and forgot to post! It was a great weekend though! Eileen - Glad to see your smiling face again. We stayed in our pool most of the afternoon and evening, probably till about 10 pm, it was so nice I hated to get out. Cindy - Glad you enjoyed the concert. You have lost so much weight girl, you are skinny! Congrats to you! Sherry - I am anxious to see the new tatoo! I bet it is pretty! Patty - Hope you are having a great time on your vacation! I certainly sounds like you are. Mandy - Glad you are feeling good enough to get out of the house. That always makes me feel better to go get some fresh air and do some shopping. I certainly don't PB all the time, in fact in all the years I have been banded, I probably only PB'd 2 or 3 times. I don't worry about going out to eat, I just eat slowly and chew good. I can eat anything, including some bread, and I eat steak all the time. I very seldom get the golf ball either. If all you can eat is soup, then you are too tight. You should be able to eat solids and they should be your main thing to eat. You would be amazed how much better you will feel and how much better you can eat if you have just a tiny bit of fill removed. Honestly if I had to stand over the toilet every time I ate, I would hate my band. I live a normal life, and all I do is eat smaller portions. Good Luck to you!

Welcome to bandland! Asprin is usually a no-no in the band world. I use liquid tylenol when I need something. It gets better with each day, good luck!

I actually couldn't even tell they repaired mine during surgery. I didn't feel any pain from it. My doctor said I couldn't have the surgery unless they repaired it. They didn't know about mine either, until I was in surgery, then they came out and told my DH and he told them to fix it.

My port area was tender for about the first year, not that it hurt all the time, but if I leaned against something or was sitting in a certain position for a long time. As long as you aren't swollen/red or having problems I would say it is fine. If it still concerns you, then check with your doctor.

Happy Bandiversary! I am so glad you posted with us and let us know there really are people out there that has had a band 10 years. I guess that is something that is always on our minds, how long the band lasts. You have done a great job with yours, and you should be very proud of yourself. I hope you stick around and post with us often. Congrats to you!
