I am planning to start a thread with the month in it, for example Weight Loss thread for the month of March. Hopefully that won't cause any problems in the future.

I'm right along with you Greg and Darcy, no loss for me either! I have been sitting at this same place for a long time, and I am ready for it to move down a little bit.

Wow, that is neat being able to see that hole and all! I'm glad things went well for you and you are safely back home. It sounds like you had great doctors working for you!

I think most of us have done the same thing. Don't worry, you will be able to eat most of your favorite things after banding. I can still eat most things, however just chose to not eat a few things. Just remember what you put on now, you will have to take off later! :cool:

I'm sorry that I can't respond to any of your threads right now, I probably wouldn't anyway, as I think this thing has gone on enough. Today is my Father's birthday, and it's a hard day for me because he isn't here with me anymore. You see, I had the best Father (and Mother) in the world, and today is a hard day for me. Welcome! We do have someone here that goes to Dr. Carter, but I can't remember who. Just be patient and they will see your post. I think we all went through the part of having a foreign object in our body, but you will do fine with it. It really isn't that bad, you can feel the port, but that is about it. As far as the diet coke, believe me once you give it up you won't miss it. You might want to start tapering down so it will be easier. I don't miss the cokes, I do drink tea, crystal light, coffee, and lots of COOL CLEAR WATER! lol

Awwww Paula, just when I thought everything was going so good for your! Why is it that Mom's food just tastes so much better than anyone elses? I hope you are doing the liquids for a few days?

I called my doctor's office and they told me to add the cream soups, you might give your doctor's office a call and ask too. I wouldn't start it unless you doctor o.k.'s it. I ate a lot of jello, popcicles, broth, and juice (apple/grape) the first week.

Whooo Hoooo! It really will be here before you know it, when I had two weeks to go I couldn't believe how fast they went. Just know we are all here and if you have any questions one of us will know the answer! I can almost feel your excitement over here, and it makes me excited for you!

Kathy - I am glad you are still losing after the unfill. It's important for some of us to hear that, sometimes we are so afraid of taking out that little bit for fear of losing our restriction. I hope you can post more often, we miss your smiling face here!

I agree Leatha, this board is not only a supportive and informational board, it is a fun board too. I certainly don't think any of that should change! I rush to my computer every morning before I go to work just to see who posted!

Princess I do believe these people meant a lot to this group and will be sadly missed. If they do not intend on coming back, several of us want to wish them well or ask them to come back. I don't believe this is causing anyone a problem. Actually my license reads more than I am right now, and the picture doesn't even look like me anymore. I thought about changing it, but I think I'll wait till I lose some more weight. I kinda like seeing the double take when they look at my ID and back at me.
