Yes, I had one, they put it in while I was asleep, and didn't remove it till the next morning, it was my best friend. It didn't hurt at all, not even when they removed it!

Welcome to bandland! I know the feeling, I was 8 pounds heavier when I came home. The nurse actually said to me "You come here to lose weight and we pump you full and you gain it", I thought she was kidding me until I got on the scale when I got home! It comes back off really fast though!

I would be calling my doctor and asking exactly how much they took out and how much you have left. Also what size band do you have? If you have the small band, then 2.5cc sounds like a lot to be a fist fill! I would need to know what they actually did.

We have two bikes, both Harleys and we both ride all the time. We have taken several trips on our bikes. We would love to ride them out to Arizona sometime, but only when we have plenty of time to do it. My DH has 01 Heritage Softail Ultra Classic 1550/95 cu engine that he special ordered when we moved here. I rode on the back of his for a year and decided I wanted my own. That back seat is uncomfortable! I have a 02 Heritage Softail Ultra Classic 1450/88 cu engine that I special ordered so it would be set up the way I wanted it to be. I had to have mine lowered because I was so short. I always wear a helmet and boots, but I only wear a coat/gloves when it is cold. It gets too hot here to wear even long sleeves in the summer time. A lot of people wear their leathers here in the summer, but I just can't take the heat of doing it. I took the safety class after I order my bike, my DH has never taken one but has been riding forever! No serious accidents for either of us.

My doctor told me I could ride my Harley in two weeks. I didn't quite feel good enough at two weeks, but I rode shortly after that and it didn't bother me at all. I did ride behind my DH at two weeks though.

I just wanted to wish you good luck, hopefully you will be able to correct this without the surgery.
