Jenna - They are at Walmart's here, also Kroger's. I am sure if you ask them, they will order them for you. -

Good for you! It is one of the hardest things you will ever do, but one of the best things you will ever do for yourself! Good Luck!

Jamie I eat steak a lot, never had any problems with it. I always use a dab of steak sauce with it though.

We don't mind at all, but we sure are glad you are out of that closet now! Good luck with your journey to get your band. Please join in our conversations, and keep us posted on your progress. -
You are probably right Babs, and in a few days, you will see a big difference! Good Luck, I always say "Good things come to those who wait!"
-
Babs you are probably gaining muscle. Also, Chinese sometimes causes Water weight gain. I wouldn't worry about it so much right now, wait for a few days and try again. Maybe your body is telling you that this is the perfect weight for you also.

Welcome to bandland! I'm glad you found us too! Good luck with your first fill. -
I really don't think they will notice that! Heck it will probably be the first thing they take off you! My Mom use to always tell us "Make sure you have clean underware on, you never know when something might happen". :laugh :laugh :laugh

Are you still having that pain? If so, you might not want to wait, a trip to the ER might be in order. I don't want to scare you, but I was working with a lady that did the same thing, I talked her into going to the doctor and she was having a heart attack. If you are still hurting like that, please just get checked out quickly! Let us know how you come out!

Good Luck with your testing! And welcome to LBT! -
Yup, mine fell out like that too, but it only got thinner and nobody really noticed it except me! It is already starting to grow back in now. I cut about 5 inches off it to make it look a little thicker, and it did help. Mine started falling out when I was at 4 months post-op.

This was on a post on smartbansters and was said by Jessie: The reason your hair is falling out is because you are losing weight. It's very common with any form of weight loss. It is not a shortage of Protein, Biotin, estrogen or anything else. It's just a side effect of weight loss. It will last a month or two and all your hair will grow back. Nobody has ended up bald yet --except for the guys who started out bald. Take a multi-vitamin every day, eat your protein first, use gentle hair care products and be patient. Sometimes people have hair loss from any anesthesia, any trama, child birth, and occasionally people even have another disease or scalp condition. If your hair loss is severe and doesn't resolve in 6-8 weeks consult with a doctor or dermatologist. Usually by the time you notice it the hair is growing back. If you look right at the hair line you can see a little fuzz coming in. Hair loss related to losing weight is temporary, self-limiting and completely reversible. It really will be OK but it's perfectly normal to freak out about it. My doctor said the same thing, and he said it is hormones that causes it.
