Good Luck Mary! I'll be thinking about you!
-
Great news! You will do fine, you have wanted this long enough, so that alone will help you along.
-
What time is your surgery tomorrow? Be sure to post and let us know how you are doing when you can. We'll let you experiment with the recipes, and if you find a good one, maybe you can post it for all of us

ROFLMAO! Mine cut their hair, but I never heard of the eyebrows before! Yes, please post a picture!

Congradulations! It will be here before you know it. You will have all kinds of feelings between now and the surgery, but it is normal. -
Awwww, I know it is always awful to have to have surgery. I am glad you are staying busy! I had my gallbladder out in 92 and I was in the door of the hospital and home in 7 hours. I was the first patient that hospital let go home the same day. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, just really sore for a while. Maybe you can go shopping and stay busy that way. Or, just keep coming on her and talking all the time.

I have roses outside in the yard, but none in the house. These rose petals were dried and very crisp, so they didn't come off my roses. It is such a weird thing, but I just know it was my Mom!

I went through this for 8 months! I couldn't walk without help. I can tell you as you lose weight it will ease up. I never had to have the surgery to fix the problem because I lost weight that took the pressure off. It was the one time I was glad I was overweight. When it happens to a thin person, they have no choice, but a fat person can lose weight and take the pressure off. Good Luck!

I almost had it done 5 years ago, and then I thought do I want this on me when I am old with white hair. I changed my mind when I thought about it being forever.

Have a great vacation!

I agree, those gas pains can be bad at first! Walking just did wonders for me, the more I moved around the better they got!

I had just cleaned the bedroom up Saturday, and dusted/polished the dressers. I went back in there a couple of hours later and on top of the dresser was some rose pedals! Now, I don't have any rose petals in my house, so they got my attention fast! This has happened to me a few times, once they were on my pillow, and a couple times on the dresser. I know this is my Mom, coming to visit me, because she loved roses! It use to make me cry because I missed her so much, now I smile knowing that she is just letting me know she is with me always.

Sue if you can do licquids without any problems, then I would give it a few days, you might still have some swelling. If you have pb'd anything at all, you need to go back to liquids for at least 24-48 hours. Anytime you pb, you need to do that. If you haven't gotten better in a few days, then you might want to consider a slight unfill. Just a very small amount can make a huge difference.

You are going through all the NORMAL feelings. You will be nervous, scared, happy, bored and a lot of other things. It will be here before you know it! Don't forget to post when you can and let us know how you are doing. It really helps to post and read here alot, or go shopping and get all your stuff in. Anything to just keep busy!

Some people (especially ones on blood thinners) bleed more than others. I am thinking she might feel that she needs to be there in case of donating blood. I am not on blood thinners, but I do bleed easily, even just getting a shot. I always have been that way, but I didn't have any problems at all with the surgery.

Good Luck to you, and please remember to post and let us know how you are doing when you can.

Way to go Michelle! I stayed the same, no gain, no loss!

Happy Birthday Jenna!

You both look beautiful!

We don't have the alarm, but we have fence all around the back yard. We have a gate that has a lock on it and we put the lock up high so small children can't reach it. The thought of a small neighbor child falling in our pool when we aren't home scares me to death, so the high fence makes me feel a little safer.

Sorry for the loss of your Father-in-law. It was great of you to take such good care of your Mother-in-law. I know it has been extremely stressful for you, but it is only for a short time. Hang in there!

My doctor is about 20 minutes from me, so I know what you mean. I love being so close in case of any problems that might arise.
