I have to do liquids the remainder of the day of the fill, then back to solids the next day. He stresses to me to make sure I return to solids the following day!

Alex I have gained a lot of great advice from your posts. Thank you so much! I have to say each person has to be comfortable in their own skin. I think you look awsome, and if you feel good at the spot you are at, then by all means relax and enjoy it. I don't believe in the table of weight loss they have out, and I don't think a lot of people do. Just because you aren't at the weight they suggest doesn't mean that you aren't healthy and in good shape. I do think when you lose too much weight, not only does it make a person look older, but sometimes sickly too. I for one will see how I feel, and go from there. That number on the scale doesn't affect me near as much as the way I look and feel. What ever you decide to do, you will look great. Your pictures are beautiful, and you should be very proud of what you have accomplished.

That was the only thing I was nervous about too was being put under. My last visit at the doctor's office they ask me if I was nervous and I said "Yes", and they told me if I wasn't then they would think something was wrong with me. They told me it was normal to be nervous, and that made me feel so much better. Once I got to the hospital, all of my Doctor's crew came in and talked to me and made me feel so much better.

I couldn't survive the day without my coffee, and my doctor said it is just fine!

I don't have the larger band, but I had the same thing, get a fill it lasts for a few days and goes away. I got my 6th fill last week, and I am finally getting some restriction. My doctor told me not to worry, I will get to that spot soon. I think this time I am finally on my way! My doctor's office uses the larger band on all his patients now, he said he gets better results with the larger band, so you just need to be patient and they will get you there. Just make sure you keep eating Protein, veggies, and you will be fine. Good Luck!

I love my new fill, for the first time I actually have a little more restriction! I lost 4 pounds since my fill on Tuesday!

Find a good wine, it has no carbination in it, but remember it does have calories. There are quite a few drinks I enjoy that are non carbonated. I have drank a couple of beers since banding and had no problems at all, I just drink slowly. Have fun this weekend!

There are a few gals on here that bought stock a while back. You might do a search on it.

A "great big" hug to you! I really don't have any advice, but I am a believer that "everything happens for a reason." Just come here and let us help you through this. I am so sorry you had to cancel you trip, I know you must have really been looking forward to it. I am sure you will find a new fill doctor, maybe some of the gals that have been going to him has already found a new one. I know there was some kind of discussion on here about him. Good luck! Welcome to bandland Kim! The gas pains will leave soon, just keep walking and if you need to use a heating pad for pain. The more walking you do the better the pains get. Good luck and glad to have you aboard!
