That's great! It's never too late to start a good and healthy life! Just imagine all the emails you two will be writing!
-
Way to go! I'm sure you will make it and lose even more!
-
Good Morning! Just a quick check in, I have a lot to do getting ready this morning for my interview. Wish me luck!!!! Sherry - Half the people on here are from Texas! We just jumped in and posted. I actually didn't realize I was posting on a NJ thread till I had posted for a few days. Pat - I'm a fair weather person too, it was 82 yesterday. It sure didn't feel like it though as it was cloudy. I can do some 60's but 70's/80's are my weather. I have rode when it was much colder, but I shiver so bad I usually don't. Great NSV on the vest. I bought one a couple of years ago to sew all my Patches on and never wore it. Now it is way too big on me so I went the other day to exchange it and didn't like anything they had. So, I still have the big one till I can find something I like. Love your cooking story! Doc - I know you are very nervous, but you will be fine. It won't be long till we can welcome you to bandland! Well, got to run and get ready. I'll check later!

I would have it both the same day. You already said you have someone there in case you need them. I didn't need anyone to help me the day I came home, I got up and got anything I needed myself. Good luck and keep us posted on the day and what you decide to do. (I certainly wouldn't want him to go before me and lose before me!):laugh :laugh :laugh

Good for you to follow up with another doctor! We all have to take charge of our own bodies when we feel something is just not right! It sounds like you got there just in time. Can you tell us when you were banded?
-
Just keep reading and studying everything you can on the surgery. We have tons of information right here on LBT, go back and read all the old threads as well as the new ones. When the time is right for you, you will know it. We all have some fear about surgery, that is only normal. Good luck!

Great NSV! Dropping sizes is always a good one! Congrats!

Please keep my little girl in your prayers...

Sending prayers your way for your daughter and your family. Also sending a great "BIG HUG" to you because right now you need one! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} -
I've never heard of it, but I'll check into it! Thanks!
-
Welcome to LBT Stacy! Glad to have you aboard!
-
I would take them still, but I would also check with your doctor's office. Too much iron can be bad. Just a telephone call would let you know for sure.

Cindy I was wondering where you were! I was disappointed that it was so cloudy today! We still went riding but it wasn't as warm as yesterday. The temp on the bank said 79 but the air didn't feel quite like it! I wish I knew how to quilt, that is something I always wanted to do, just never learned how to do it. Thanks for the compliment, I actually love to help people even if it is with a smile! I guess I have just been doing it all my life and I don't realize I am even doing it. Glad you are taking some time for relaxing, and yes sometimes we do have to schedule it! I did get my house cleaned up so that is one more thing I can chalk up for today. Now.....if I could just get myself to start walking every day again!:tired I have my interview at 9:00 in the morning, so I have to do a few things for that yet tonight. Eileen - Did you get your car cleaned out???? I got mine washed and cleaned out too. DH and I went out and did it right after we went riding. Ira - Nice to see your smiling face even if they had to remind you to do it! Later y'all! Have a great night!

Eggs are very touchy for some bandsters. A lot of people just can't eat them without getting stuck. I learned the best way for me to eat eggs is to fry them easy over, then cut them up with the runny yolk coating them. I don't have a problem this way. -
Hi Bright! I for one remember you well! I'm sorry you have been having problems, maybe if you come here a lot we'll make you feel better. :) Don't you just love the fact that even when we get down and don't eat right our band lets us know? It sounds like you are still doing well with your band. You are a beautiful gal (I remember from the pictures of you) and you have always been a sweet person here on LBT. I am happy your are back! I'll keep you in my prayers that things get better for you. If I can do anything at all to help you, please let me know! Hugs and well wishes!

This may be a dumb question, but...

The longest one is the port. Sometimes when you lay down and feel around, you will feel a round hard spot, that is your port. -
Thank you for posting this. It brought tears to my eyes, and made me smile at the same time. What an inspiring story!
-
Great job! It only gets better too!

You have to work with the band, it is just a helpful tool, but you still have to do a lot of work along with it. I don't diet, I just watch my portions. I have dieted all my life, and it didn't do one bit of good!
-
You all look like you are having a ball! You look happy and beautiful!
-
Doc you are feeling all the normal feeling. It's only natural to be feeling like you are. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Please let us know how you are when you can.

Good Morning! It's going to be another beautiful day here, in the 80's. I think we will probably spend a lot of it riding today. I have some work to get done too, so I best get busy! Eileen - I need to get my car cleaned up too! I have been saying that for a while now, I don't have junk in it, it is just dirty and needs to be washed! Sherry - I know what you are going through, I still have some boxes of stuff in the garage that I have never unpacked. Most of it is DH stuff though! I guess by now if I haven't missed it, I can throw it away! Our problem was we left most of our stuff in our old house when we moved here because we had some buyer for it. We came here and rented an apartment until we sold our house. Well, the buyer fell through, so we ended up buying a bunch of stuff to live with in the apartment. Then the house sold, and we had all the stuff from both places, plus a lot we bought for the new house. I don't ever want to move again!:eek Well, I have to get off here and get some work done. The neighbor is coming over some time this morning and bringing me some stuff to download into my computer. I at least want to have the bed made!:laugh :laugh :laugh Good morning to all of you that haven't posted! Catch you later!

Remember those mushrooms that you made the diet tea with? I can't remember the name of it, well I still have one of those in my fridge out in the garage that I kept in liquid all these years. :) Now that I think about it being out there, I am going to throw it away! Ewwww I sure wouldn't want to make tea and drink it after all these years! :)

What talent! Thanks for sharing!
